  1. Hi. More options (including spellcheck) coming 'soon'... If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest (re)installing the legacy version and using that where v10 isn't yet ready. Install an older version of Evernote
  2. Hi. If you use the web version it's possible to have two separate windows open - but I use two views of the same account, not different ones; it may not work for you. Alternatively AFAIK there's no reason why you shouldn't install the Legacy version 6.25.2 alongside v10 and have separate accounts open in both apps... Install an older version of Evernote

  4. Hi. I'm not aware of any need for multiple email accounts. It should be possible to uninstall the version you currently have and install a 'legacy' version 6.25.2 from that link, or download and install the recent public version 6.25.1 from a third-party source like https://filehippo.com/download_evernote/ Once you have a working version you would be able to ignore this new update unless and until it returns some of the usability that you are now missing. It would also be possible to export your notes to PDF or to another service should you wish.

Hi. Didn't even know that the Android beta was out. There's site offering older versions here, or you may find that Google Play still offer 8.13.3 which (I think) was the last version...

  7. Hi. No arguments here - you might like to support (and promote) this votable thread to see whether we can change Evernote's culture and at least get some communication going... https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/128978-devs-post-a-full-roadmap-for-users/
  8. Hi. While basic users can (or used to be able to) email notes to others, the basic Evernote account has no inbound email access. You need to subscribe for that. I use Gmail rules and my Evernote account to keep track of ongoing conversations by BCC copying the ongoing email to my own email address. My rule says: "if you see an incoming email from <this address> (ie me)" it then gets forwarded to my Evernote account address and appears as a note. This is the best of a bad set of options to numerous to explain, and it does mean (unless I also houseclean regularly) I have a steadily building collection of notes from that one conversation with 1,2,3 etc replies in a thread. There is a Gmail 'clipper' extension (which may or may not work with the new Evernote) which you could use as an option. If you;re asking whether Evernote could be amended to act as a mail client and keep it's own notes that way - er, no.
  9. Classic note links open the linked note in the app; Ordinary boring note links open the note in a browser.
  10. Hi. From other threads around here it appears there's an unspecified time during which your notes are being downloaded into a local temporary folder and they are unfindable/ unusable for that period. Throw in another thread about PDF files over 20MB (which I see this one is not) not being displayed, but others -allegedly- being available inline, and I reckon you could very well be looking at a temporary issue which will fix itself. However we're a -mostly- user-supported forum so I'd suggested raising it with Support - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - so if it doesn't sort itself out you can express your frustrations direct!
  11. Thanks @Mike P - where are these 'preferences' of which you speak? Is that a Mac setting? (I'm not on v10 ...yet!)
  12. Hi. We're a (mainly) user-supported forum, so have no inside information on what updates / fixes will be coming when. We do know there's lots of work in the pipeline so all we can do is advise you use the legacy version where v10 isn't (yet) up to scratch.
  13. Hi. Updates should be coming 'soon'. Immediate thought for work-arounds are to use a different format for images / wrap the PNG into a PDF file or (on a desktop) re-install the legacy version and using that where v10 isn't yet ready. Install an older version of Evernote
  14. Hi. v10 seems to be a work-in-progress. AFAIK we have no information on what features will return and when, but Evernote seem to be indicating "soon".

  16. Hmmn. @joness - sorry; further to my note above, I just found this higher up... So it looks like a permanent local copy database may well be an option in future - although if you are running the legacy version for other reasons, you'll need to allow for storing two databases!
  17. Hi. Given the number of queries and complaints Evernote is probably receiving right now, I'd be surprised if they manage to respond to any requests within a week. We're a -mostly- user-supported forum, so have no control over debiting, but you can change that yourself: see How to manage your Evernote subscription for details. I'm pretty sure Stepan Pachikov is no longer directly connected with the business. The new CEO Ian Small would be the man to contact...
