  1. Hi. Options are... Subscribers get an Evernote email address to which you can forward emails - pro tip: send or BCC emails to yourself and (if you can in your email client) set up a Rule to forward all emails you receive that way to your account email address. That way you get a full copy of the original email - the other way you just get the body of the message. If you have an email service that has a webmail option - just use the normal browser clipper to grab the mail. Or you could install the legacy version of Evernote and stick to 6.25 as well as (or instead of) the new kid on the block. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314 In various situations it's also possible to copy and paste content into a note.
  2. I'm not sure I can disable updates for Evernote. Despite some strong misgivings about the desktop update (which I will not be using for a while!) I might go with the mobile - I spend most of my time on desktop anyway, and use the mobile mainly for look-ups and to input images...
  3. I noted the "yet"... Is it still possible that you will in the future? Not asking for details or a date, just interested!
  4. Sorry to hear that. I do see that there's a Windows 'legacy' version 6.25.2 which can be installed alongside the new app - maybe running the two side by side for a while you can cover any deficiencies in the update?
  5. Hi. It used to be the case that holding Shift while dragging & dropping a PDF file added it as an attachment. Otherwise the option was in Settings, which I know you don't have yet...
  6. Hmmn. Sometimes that can mean there's an issue with one or more of those notes. Maybe export them to ENEX (one export per notebook) if there are not too many, and try to sync; then import back in smaller groups to try to identify any issues?
  7. Hi. I don't have access to the new version of the web client yet - the old version still has this ability - switch back (I think) in Settings.
  8. There are no current answers unfortunately, other than to correct the layout in the old editor. Evernote is available on Facebook and Twitter @EvernoteHelps
  9. I moved your comment to a thread for iOS 10 where you should get other users' input.
  10. There's a 6.25.2 'legacy' version which (apparently) will co-exist with the new desktop app... see other threads here for details!
  11. Ouch. I use both too. Hadn't seen that Import Folders were excluded but I use that too. Seems like you can run legacy and new versions side by side from the above, which may be a short(ish) term work-around; also as a subscriber you can still forward emails to your account email address, so the lack of an Outlook Clipper isn't a necessarily a total loss.
  12. Hi. Which new version? Web / iOS / Windows?? -There are also specific threads for each OS for older 'legacy' version and the new 10+ apps.
  13. Hmmn. Missed that earlier. Guess if you're saving scans directly to Evernote that might be a problem - although if Evernote can still accept scans from Canon / Epson etc, why would Fujitsu be incompatible. Maybe just means they won't support the older Evernote version...
  14. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047889234 New version now available....
  15. Hi. See https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/forum/731-evernote-for-windows-requests-versions-100-and-above/ for some more thoughts on this...
  16. Hi. There's another thread here somewhere about issues with Google logins. If you have an original Evernote password, try logging out and back in with that. If you don't remember the Evernote version of your password, you could try the 'forgotten password' link at Evernote.com. You may have to bear with Evernote support - the company is releasing new versions which inevitably throws up lots of users queries. They're probably a bit overwhelmed.
  17. Hi @Shane D. - phew. Thanks - had a brief moment there where I thought a bad year was going to get much worse! When you get time, can someone address my other questions about the new app though please? I can install it and test things out, but you'll save me some time if I know more about what to expect...
  18. Hi. First comment - you may want to change the tag line for this section: "If you have feedback related to the older version of Evernote for Windows, post here!" (my emphasis) - I think you mean the new one? Some questions arise before I update my current version 6.25... Is there a "step back" option? - i.e. once updated would I be able to revert to my 6.25 version if the new app is not performing well? Local (unsynced) notes are no longer supported - do you still store local copies of the notes synced with the server database? I ask because I use Backupery's app to export my notes to ENEX on a daily basis and I'd like to continue to do so after updating. For anyone wary of updating to the new version - how long do you forsee support for legacy versions continuing? Will there still be bug fixes and updates for those versions? Presentation Mode is something which is very useful for academic users - is there any prospect of this coming back / some sort of integration with a presentation app? Another service I use is Postach.io - will that app continue to be able to convert my notes to a blog? I can work around the Outlook Clipper no longer being supported (there's still email!) but the list of unsupported features in the help page says (again my emphasis) Can we expect an exhaustive list of 'no longer supported' features anytime soon?
  19. Certainly sounds too long - I don't have access to that version, so can't help unfortunately - Support is your best bet! (There is a new version of the Windows client out too - you might want to have a look at that...)
  20. Hi. If you're using the beta, see comments about betas! Thanks for the headsup though.
  21. Hi. What version of the web client is this? And how long is it before the text times out? As you're a subscriber I'd suggest you raise this with Support. (We're a -mainly- user-driven Forum here. Support are usually busy but they do have under the hood access that we don't.)
  22. Since you ask... https://help.getpocket.com/article/1140-using-pocket-with-evernote
  23. Hi. Which version of Windows and are you using the web client or Evernote for Windows? And what has changed since yesterday? I'm not aware of any recent updates to either. Have you restarted your system?
