The screenshot shows the visual tag hierarchy Tags 1,2,3,4 can be seen in visually >>If I missed something about how to use tags please do elighten me You mentioned being limited to Stacks and Notebooks Notebooks and Tags are fields in the Notebook record For organization purposes, simply assign a tag to a note As a bonus, multiple tags can be assigned
  4. Agreed - Evernote Legacy is great on my Mac Evernote v10 is a work-in-progress Also using v10 on my iPad. Not as great as the Mac, but not a serious issue >>I would like to know with what you are replacing Evernote. No immediate plans Devonthink (Apple Only) is the top of my alternatives list

  11. As per @PinkElephant my solution for batch changes is Applescript on a Mac with the Evernote Legacy product I've done this many times btw I don't often mess with creation date I specify subject date as per your example; a prefix to the note title
  12. I don't understand the "one task per box", or is that an Android thing Personally, I use one task per note It makes it easier to tag, filter, sort, ...
  13. A sample Applescript is posted here As per @PinkElephant, Applescript is only supported with the Evernote Legacy product
  14. Yes, Evernote creates a copy of the file After syncing, the audio file is uploaded and stored on the Evernote servers

  18. Personally, I'm not expecting much smart/advanced table functionality from a note editor I do use spreadsheet functionality, stored in Evernote as a note file attachment For editing, I use the Apple Numbers editor; a spreadsheet app Likewise, I use word processing functionality with the Apple Pages editor, a word processing app
