  1. You should open a tech support ticket. Or better reopen the previous ticket and ask for more help.
  2. I'm not aware of any plans to enable task integration/sync with other platforms. Of you need something different then use that application since there isn't anything coming anytime soon in Evernote for this.
  3. Generally, the Web version is a good choice for those on a Free plan. However, you might have had more success with Ctrl+Z etc on the desktop app. Even so, if you want the note content back your only option is likely to be one month of Personal plan.
  4. I'm told that the ability to add Tasks via the web clipper is being rolled out in the days ahead...
  5. @tyoung77 The good news for the OP is that she was able to resolve the issue that she was facing a couple of weeks ago.
  6. No problem. Just checking. I use the same process as you and have no troubles at all. Have you tried uninstalling the app and then reinstalling? Sometimes app issues like this area resolved with a clean installation. Just be sure all note changes have been synchronised before you uninstall.
  7. As ever, to be sure that Evernote sees your idea you should submit this directly via the Feedback function in the apps or in a support ticket. Staff only pass by here infrequently. That said, even if your idea is considered really useful, I'd imagine it would take a year or so to develop, test and implement.
  8. @Tom Lent Can you say how you do the Ctrl+X/V stuff on Android or was that just shorthand for cut and paste? I have no control key on any Android device.
  9. I'm not sure that you have any options other than Note History. But if Ctrl+Z isn't working then you have wider challenges. Which version of Evernote are you using?
  10. You've posted this question in the Android v10 Issues forum. Referring to Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V I'm guessing you are using a Windows PC. Please tell us which OS and which version of Evernote you experience this problem. Web/desktop/Microsoft Store...
  11. I don't know enough about the Google API but it is quite likely that to make the connection Google requires that Evernote has access to the contacts. Evernote has a fairly significant connection to Google resources. I don't think that this means Evernote is grabbing your contact information. It will be interesting to see what happens with contact information when the Outlook 365 connection goes live soon.
  12. It is also possible that your friend has attempted to view the shared notes in a third device. The shared notes information could take you to opening it in a web browser. If your friend is, for example, already using a desktop and mobile app then this would mean she was trying a third device which isn't permitted on the Free plan.
  13. On Windows you should have, immediately, typed Ctrl+Z. By now the opportunity to undo this mistake had gone. If you create backups of your hard disk days you could restore from the backup. Your only option now is the note history. You could upgrade for one month for about the cost of a takeaway coffee or two. It really depends on how important this lost content is to you.
  14. Evernote tasks appearing in Google was never offered or promised. Neither is two way sync. When Calendar sync was introduced it was always clear that it was intended to be a one direction. The intention is to provide context for notes rather than an external means of adding to and amending calendar entries directly. Send some feedback to Evernote. It might get on the list of options to be considered.
  15. The snipping tool in EN10 on Windows 11 has a problem caused by Windows. Use the Windows clipper and it will work.
  16. The Bending Spoons acquisition isn't completed yet. That's expected in Q1/Q2 2023. The ads I've seen are promoting the Black Friday upgrade deal. Since prices are increasing on Plus & Premium I expect that there are offers to move to Personal or Professional. It is a short term promotion.
  17. It doesn't exist and isn't planned. You would need multiple accounts and share notes so that the content can be viewed inside each account but with a different Home dashboard.
  18. Yes, the Plus and old Premium tier subs are increasing from this month.
  19. I use ScanSnap too. You will get less, or at least different, interruption if, instead of using the Evernote button, you create an import folder for Evernote and then use the save to folder option in ScanSnap.
  20. Take a look at the Evernote website and compare plans. You'll see what the various upgrades provide. It is an individual decision. If you need the additional features and functions then you can work out whether it is worth the investment for you.
  21. I think the point is that these updates do not, generally, add new features. Rather they fix things that are broken, improve security and performance. So you are strongly advised to accept them when they first arrive. Yes, you will be nagged to install but that will cease if you go ahead with the update. I do see that the update box taking focus is a hassle. For now the best solution is to update when prompted or set a reminder and check for updates at the earliest time after the first reminder.
  22. I'm not suggesting this is a bad idea but it hasn't been implemented for more than two years and I see no sign of it coming soon. If this is crucial to your workflow then you may need a different application.
  23. For sure you should try uninstall/reinstall. Are you on a paid plan or Free? If on the Free plan could you have used Evernote on the devices?
  24. It doesn't exist at the present. By all means suggest it but even if the idea is adopted I would anticipate more than 12 months before or arrived.
  25. Since we have had v10 using Electron for more than two years I think we have a good indication of the direction of travel. We know that collaborative editing is in beta and Outlook 365 calendar links will be in beta next month. We don't know what won't be arriving other than this things that haven't arrived and are well documented such as local folders. The rest is conjecture.
