I don't see this feature arriving soon. In the meantime you could probably achieve this by creating a Media Gallery notebook or, better still, a tag. Add the tag then when you get home to undertake housekeeping just view the notes with that tag.

Hi @Robert In Hawaii. There are many reasons why this might happen. The Z fold is new technology and it may be that Evernote isn't playing well with the device. Notes that are in the Trash will not be accessible. Likewise notes that have been shared with you without offering the ability to edit will be locked out. So, I would take a look at the notes you cannot open and see what is unique about them. Can you tell us which version of the Evernote app you have installed? Also please describe clearly the steps we would need to follow to reproduce what you are experiencing.

I believe that the API will, in time, be updated to expose the various newer functions that have been incorporated since the release of v10 of the software. My guess is that it will be sometime before that takes place since the new functions have not settled. So please register your request directly with Evernote since these forums are user-to-user and Evernote staff only visit infrequently. Either use the Feedback option in one of the applications or submit a support ticket.

Are you on Plus or legacy Premium? These two plans have had a price increase for the first time since they were created. Of course you should decide what price is worthwhile for you. But I would also argue that Evernote has made a rock for its bed by not increasing prices incrementally more regularly. Everything else I subscribe to goes up annually but Evernote rolls on - mostly without increase.

Have you tried a clean uninstall as described above?

With a Professional subscription you can attach Excel sheets and view the content on a note. Create the Gantt chart in Excel and you can view inside a note with Professional.

On Windows desktop Ctrl+R. On mobile Settings/Sync.

I think we've realised that the issue is with the Tray rather than the Taskbar.

The issue can be down to multiple factors. For the OP it looks likely to be partly Browser related but the OS and mouse drivers can also be in play. Have you tried an alternative browser?

The image in the OP was of the system tray although described as taskbar. It is common to mistakenly refer to the taskbar when meaning the system tray.

The size of the %AppData%\Evernote folder assuming you are running the direct download version of Evernote rather than the Microsoft Store version.

I find this issue easy to forget. I don't have the Evernote icon in the System Tray. Instead I have a shortcut in the taskbar since I prefer the left click to open the program and never use the Quick Note option.

I understand that the option to set the default PDF view is in the pipeline. Might that redeem v10 for you?

I'm sure that there COULD be but I don't think that there will be. Performing a re-tag, for example, on 1,000 notes would take forever at the present unless you went offline first which is almost as obscure as editing the config.json. This is one of the things that will require the promised improvements to sync.

I would imagine that the answer to your request is likely to be that Evernote is not intended to be a fully fledged code editor offering the coloured coding. If that is a key feature for you then you are right to explore an application that will do what you need.

The comparison folder on a Windows PC is %AppData%\Evernote assuming you are using one of the v10 apps. This is the space where your data is stashed. Just how the data is collected and stored is a mystery to many of us so I could conceive that the two PCs might assemble the stored data in different ways.

You should raise this concern with Evernote directly. These forums are user to user and staff are only infrequently here. Clearly, we can't fix anything. In the meantime, Quit Evernote when screen sharing as a temporary solution.

V6.25 is the now out of date and unsupported version of Evernote. The settings referred to are for the new v10 software. For you the Title should be the default starting place for a new note so if that's what you want them nothing more to do.

Did you raise the idea with Zotero support? They will be the ones who would take the initiative.

This question has been asked many times. Have a search for font size. The only way around is to create a template now with you're font choices saved. Create new notes based on the template.

I confess that I've never tried to "Select All". I find a selection of notes that I need to work with that area fewer than the maximum number set in the config file. (In my case 500) Click on the first note and Shift click on the last note. All are then selected.
