You can save shortcuts to individual notes on the device home screen plus the various widgets. You can, as ever, save tags to shortcuts and there is a widget that will provide access to those shortcuts on the device screen.

Please tell us the subscription plan you are on. Also, have a look at the image size and let us know that.

It is a known issue. The only workaround in a desktop app is to copy the image to, say, the desktop then import into the new note from the desktop. Not a solution but it seems to work.

@Jono James Just check that Work Chat is enabled in your account settings. I disabled it since I never found it useful and there were suggestions early on that mobile apps were a tad speedier if Work Char was disabled. That was some time ago. But if you cannot see Work Chat then be sure it is actually enabled.

Evernote Experts were told that "There is a delay with updates in the Mac App Store and on the Web." I'm not sure if the arrival of v10.51 on web indicates that this is resolved or that Backlinks are still not available on the web even though 10.51 is released. Or that it affects some and not others. Like the 'pill' button that appears for some on mobile and not others.

I was speaking to the OP's request to display a map. I don't think that will ever return. Since it isn't a feature that is remotely valuable to me I haven't explored the functions available to Professional plan users. I think that is just a search capability in desktop but if it is accessible to Pro payers then I guess it has been determined that it is something you pay for if you want it. Not commenting on whether that's good or bad. But equally there are always things we feel we want and should be included in whatever plan we are on rather than having to pay more for that one feature.

Since mapping was withdrawn from Legacy some years back I infer that it is too costly, rarely used or both to provide mapping inside a note. An ability to click a link which opens a map in an installed application might work. I'd look at What3Words. But I don't see mapping ever returning given previous experience.

I have seen this in the past but I don't copy and paste between notes much so cannot confirm whether or is a continuing issue. It is certainly something which Is try recreating the local data. As ever the workaround has been to stay the image to the desktop and then back into the new note. Meanwhile open a support ticket

You just have to wait for the sync to take place. But the check mark is always worth tapping. I think of it akin to saving (although it isn't a save button - I just think of it like that)

I don't doubt that some Android devices display as described but, even so, it seems that mine doesn't.

Sync inevitably takes time. I've not been troubled so I can't say whether it has improved. It does what I need. A new sync process is in beta test at the moment so changes are likely sooner rather than later.

Not in my Android app. I have to go via the three doors menu. But perhaps it varies with device/OS or some other factors.

Actually Android is the same as you describe for iOS. This is, I think, the mobile way of displaying backlinks.

Honestly, we have no idea. These are user supported forums. You will have to open a support ticket to find out. The synchronisation process is being revised and the new process is in beta test. This may resolve this issue but we cannot say if it will.

Premium & Plus users have received an increase after many years at a fixed price. Evernote should, in my view, have increased prices incrementally year by year. There will not be any answer to justify this particular increase in these forums. You'll have to raise this with a billing ticket if you want an answer.

Yes, I saw this occasionally with 10.50. I upgraded to 10.51 over the weekend so cannot say if the issue persists. Also I'm part of the Collaborative Editing preview so my sync process is, I think, different to the default.

I remember when the ability to set a different sort for each notebook was introduced in what we now call Legacy. Since it was new I wasn't sure that I'd need it. Within days I had most notebooks in reverse edited order whilst others were alphabetical. I cope quite easily with the current option. I use search to quickly locate a note but I agree that this would be a useful addition. That said I'm sure it has been suggested by others. We should have a search and maybe add views to those earlier requests

There is no expectation of this function. But we're all users like you. You'll need to open a support ticket to get something more definitive.

Then you should open a support ticket with Evernote. These forums are user to user support.

You have replied to a 4 year old post for an old, outdated, application. Was that your intention? If your issue is with v10 of the Evernote application then please let us know. If it is with V6 then try upgrading to v10

Web client had not, yet, had backlinks enabled.

The links reporting is just that, a reporting of links that already exist. So they don't link anything in anyway differently to the process that has previously been in place. I just exported an ENEX of one of the notes displaying backlinks. I see no reference to the linked note in the ENEX. However, you cannot opt out of these backlinks other than by choosing to not link notes together. HTH
