  1. This is a browser warning. Basically, if there are any changes that haven't been saved then they will be lost if you close this tab. Otherwise, you can proceed...
  2. Yes, but I don't think it made it to the development from the mock up. Presumably the requested feedback didn't support the need for a Project.
  3. I don't believe a 'Projects' label was ever on the plan to be delivered. But the new description field could be used to hold a project label if desired. Possibly better, create a note for each project and save the tasks on the project note. However, the new tasks isn't finished yet. Not least it isn't available on mobile.
  4. When I am logging into my Evernote account via the web I go directly to https://www.evernote.com/client/web?login=true which misses out the sales pages
  5. You have to start and then tackle each note as it is reported. So in the example given in your first post you have the note 'GI effects digestion adn absorption' reported so you go ahead and fix it then start again.
  6. These errors seem to indicate some more corruption. You would have to fix the damaged notes. The easiest thing is to duplicate each 'broken' note and then delete the original copy. If the note in question is no longer needed then simply delete it. Also, ENEX files are intended for import into program such as Evernote. A few competing products will open an ENEX file as well as Evernote. You can open the file in a text editor. You may prefer to export as HTML if you just want to be able to view your notes.
  7. The place to start is https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup However, it does require some basic technical competence. The instructions there are simple enough but if they out-face you then think twice before proceeding. The program download is at https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup/releases/tag/v1.9.3
  8. It may be that a full uninstall using Appcleaner to remove all trace of the original installation is needed. Then download the latest version from evernote.com/download to see what happens
  9. We're all very disappointed at the slow response times from Evernote support. It is a sad fact that your husband may need to wait 2-4 weeks for a response beyond the standard automated reply.
  10. No intention to cause offence, but checking that the task had a TIME as well as a date. I'm assuming so, but since you didn't say I thought it worth asking.
  11. Yes, I believe that this is the plan. The new mobile home screen is for phones only.
  12. There is a switch to display the tasks or not as you wish although I think it is turned on by default.
  13. I think the Android Home roll out has been very cautious to test user response. This function will, I think come at a more predictable pace. You may already have it
  14. Coming soon, in a desktop app near you... Tasks with date/time will be displayed in the Evernote internal calendar. More patience required for a link to Google Calendar/Outlook.
  15. Yes, it is gradually arriving in a desktop app near you. Go to Settings / Import and, when available, you can drag and drop from Apple Notes, OneNote, Word, Google Docs and Notion (Markdown). I've tested the Word and Markdown and a coherent note is created from the original document.
  16. I made the Windows directory that captures screen clips into an import folder. So, for me, Win+Shift+S creates a new note containing the clipped areas.
  17. Nobody here works for Evernote. So we aren't providing customer service. I can see that Evernote replied to your request requesting confirmation of your Email, the last payment date and the invoice number. I don't think you provided what they need to locate your payment.
  18. I haven't tried the Windows setting recently but it did not, in the past, work.
  19. Not saying it should display but I think it is intended to reflect which account is open. I have three Evernote accounts. Same name but different Email logins. It confirms which account I'm using at any time. Not so relevant if you have just one ID in Evernote.
  20. There are two halves to the scanning process. Both bits have to work together. The ScanSnap Manager is in the process of being withdrawn. It still works but will not be updated. I used to have it scan directly into Evernote but I had to configure that process manually. Manager is replaced with ScanSnap Home which is very different. There is a scan to Evernote process as a default profile but I chose the scan and manually move to an import folder method. You'd have to try the provided scan direct to Evernote profile to see if it works. I have a faithful s1300i. This is my second. The previous one failed and I found current one used on eBay. Don't buy an Evernote edition ScanSnap. They are NOT supported and you'll have to locate the firmware update software which Fujitsu withdrew a year or so ago.
  21. In these forums you speak only to fellow users. If you want to suggest improvements you can Email feedback@evernote.com

  23. FWIW... My local Evernote data takes about the same amount ofof storage as the evernote-backup storage (adding together the SQL database plus the exported ENEX).
