  1. I spoke too soon with regards to the problem of my existing paid account being recognised as a new account... Logging in seems to be ok on the windows and (usually) mobile clients, but refuses to recognise the existing paid account on the Web client. So I reopened my previous support ticket. In the meantime to add insult to injury, I received notification that when my subscription becomes due next year, it will be increasing from £29.99 to £43.99! That is to keep it on the redundant Plus subscription. However if I want more features then I would need to upgrade to Personal which will cost £68.99 Don't EN realise there's a recession on? Yes I know the legacy price for Plus has been held at the same rate for a few years now, but how can they possibly justify a £14 in-one-go increase for no extra features or expect a customer to fork out an additional £25 to upgrade to Personal? A hike of £39 for extra features I will never use seems like a bad joke particularly when they can't even sort the basics out.
  2. Well that is just weird, reinstalled the android app again tonight and now it's working again..... Thanks for all your replies and suggestions everyone. I may be back if there are further problems 🙂
  3. Thank you, I have sent a message to this person and hope they can help. Will update if I get a reply and a solution.
  4. I'm only able to post here because I'm already signed in. When I clicked on the link you kindly supplied it took me to a sign in page, even though I'm already signed in. I tried pasting it into a different browser and it just says 'you have been signed out'. I am now going round in circles with this. If I can't make contact with EN help to raise the issue and I can't log into my account because my email and password are not recognised as an existing account, am not sure what else to try? Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated!
  5. I usually sign in via username and password but using biometrics, so I never actually enter details. Have also noticed (just today) that when I try to sign in on EN web, it automatically signs me out. Again, have cleared cache and web history, have even tried 2 different browsers, but still having issues.
  6. No that's the annoying thing, I've been a paid subscriber since 2012!
  7. Having ongoing issues with the android app not syncing properly. Well today it kept crashing, so uninstalled, cleared phone cache, switched off, reinstalled EN app. Now I can't log back in. For some reason it thinks I am a new customer and won't accept my existing email and password... help please!!!
  8. @eric99I'm using a Samsung A52 5G with 6GB of ram. @gazumpedI get what you mean, but it was Evernote's choice to offer a cross-platform product and promote their software as all-singing, all-dancing. Many users I suspect will have chosen this product because of the variety it can offer, and it is not unreasonable to expect to get not only what you have paid for, but that the software provider will honour their side of the contract; i.e. customer pays - software Co provides a decent product which does what it claims to.
  9. Am running Android 12 which I believe is the latest version. It seems they have concentrated on the PC versions and let the mobile app fall by the wayside, which is a shame as it used to be brilliant. A relatively quick 'fix' I have found is to uninstall the app, clear the cache and then reinstall, but who wants to do that every week, and why should you have to when you are a paying subscriber? Plus does everything I want it to and the extra bells and whistles in Pro just aren't worth the increase in subscription for me. I only use it as a sole customer, don't share it for work or anything similar. It feels like they are focusing on the corporate side or things, when it might be the single users who were their bread-and-butter.
  10. I have been an Evernote user for 10 years and overall I've found it an excellent piece of software. However over the last year or two, annoying bugs have gradually been creeping in which they don't seem in any hurry to fix. I keep getting annoying nags to upgrade from Plus to Professional, fair enough, they want to retire Plus, but where is the incentive when Professional is almost twice the cost and what guarantee do I have that things will be any better if I do upgrade? As far as I can see, upgrading wouldn't affect the mobile app. Duplication of notes - frequently occurs, which necessitates checking each version to see which is the latest one and deleting the other version. Android app 'freezing' and unable to save, update or move to another part of the Evernote screen unless I log out clear the cache and log back in again, when I then find my last updated note hasn't updated or has only saved amid half a sentence! I have checked my WiFi signal and everything else works fine except Evernote. I took to writing notes elsewhere and then copying them into EN when on the windows or web version, but that kind of defeats the object.... I have raised these issues with tech support - still waiting for a response. My subscription is up for renewal soon and I really don't want the aggro of moving everything to another program, but I use Evernote android app daily and this is a deal breaker for me. Does anyone else have these problems? Have you found a workable solution?
  11. No the ordinary gmail address turned up in a data breach, not the complicated system-generated address. But when I changed the ordinary gmail address associated with my account to a new one, the system-generated address was still picking up on my original email address. for example: another12345@googlemail.com (old) differentperson67890@googlemail.com (new) but system-generated address still picks up on another12345.4bg85f5.m.evernote.com instead of it being differentperson67890.4bg5f5.m.evernote.com I'm hoping that explains it a bit clearer.
  12. I changed the email address associated with my Evernote account because the old one turned up in a data breach. It changed ok, but when I go into the Account Summary, the Email Notes to is still showing the old email address the account was associated with. I've tried resetting but it still picks up on the old address. Can anyone advise how I can email into Evernote using my new email address. I have raised a ticket with support but thought asking the question here might be quicker! Thanks.
  13. I'm running windows 11 with legacy, it's working fine (so far!)
  14. I too am am still on a Plus plan, because it has everything I need... Keep getting the nag screen to 'upgrade', but why would I upgrade to Personal when a) I don't need all the extra features and b) it costs nearly twice as much! Also, am I the only one who find the new Home/dashboard screen really annoying...? For those who find it useful, fine. But for those who don't, please give us a way of turning the damn thing off.
  15. So I tried to sign into the web version this morning, asked me to change my password. Checked email, said if I didn't want to change password could just carry on as normal. Tried logging into pc version, same thing, tried mobile, same thing; then I realised it was probably because my pc has just upgraded to Windows 11. So reluctantly I changed my password, to find that I can only use a previous version of Evernote. So why hasn't the latest version been made compatible with Windows 11?
