I've had this same problem on several occasions. Loss of an hour or more's work. Most often seems to happen when I've popped out the note. I was taking data from one note and updating it in a new note, deleting on the old note as I went. Had to go to a very old version of the old note to try to rebuild, but lost some important stuff completely and lost a lot of time.

Thanks, Neil, for filling us in on the status of this request. Here's a work-around that's not too bad: Just add the link in a text line after the related task.

AH-HA! Thanks, Dave. I've been accepting all new updates, but I guess it was just updating 10.41. I'm not too savvy with these things. Thanks, everyone for the awesome help.

Thanks for your replies. This is the PC version 6.25.1.9091. Just upgraded my subscription yesterday to Professional. That's the weird thing: the "notes" option is not there. on mine. (see below)

I read that in a new note we can now set the cursor to default to the Title field rather than the text field from the "Note" Preferences tab. When I click on Preferences, the note tab is missing as are several other items that are shown in the learning center graphic. Where are they? Please help. Thank you.
