  1. Nice idea. Works perfectly. I can add comments about the pdf in the table as well so it's quite a good structure. I'd still the ability to change the default but this could be a useful workaround in some circumstances. Many of my pdfs are gathered using the webclipper so it doesn't help there.
  2. But also removes the hyperlink to the youtube page and just leaves the plain text of the link. To turn it into an actual hyperlink (like all pasted links) you have to press enter which reintroduces the video preview! <space> - ctrl-V - <space> works much better.
  3. I just tried. It doesn't seem to have changed. When I searched for two words I got 64 results. When I put any: in first I got 354
  4. I don't know what platform you are using but on the desktop and web simplify formatting and remove formatting are the last two icons at the right of the edit bar.
  5. Sorry. I don't understand why EN use location when they mean notebook! Thanks for clarifying the title. The information is still there in V10 - if you export a note and examine the enex file in a text editor you can see the long and lat numbers. The search for longitude and latitude still works as well. But you can't see the data in the actual app. Very strange.
  6. I can repeat this. The tag "lozenge" appears but the text stays in the text box which, as you say, means you have to delete it to further refine your search. I do have this theory with EN that eventually you reach equilibrium and every new feature/bug fixed is balanced by something that was working now being broken.
  7. I don't understand what you need. The location of the note is at the top of the note and in the note info window.
  8. Which platform are you using? My Windows desktop version never starts in Home.
  9. What platform are you on? Right clicking a note in the list in the windows destop app gives you the option to copy the internal link. It's slightly annoying that you then need to choose the type of link you want - there is plenty of space to include both formats in the main right click menu. Alternatively there is the keyboard shortcut which again works from the note list.
  10. Just try it on the web for a bit. The desktop and web versions are now very similar. You can also run both the legacy and V10 desktops - just be careful about syncing.
  11. If we did there would be people saying "why are these developers contributing to the forums rather than getting on with what they are supposed to be doing". I'm sure the developers are well aware of the issues and doing their best (within the constraints they have been given) to sort them out. If their best is not good enough then we can go elsewhere - it's called a market econonmy. Meanwhile @gazumpedhas explained how in most cases you can continue to use the legacy apps and wait and see what happens.
  12. Which is probably why it is already there. ctrl-F (while in edit mode). You can only replace within the current note so if you wanted some sort of global option that would for example edit the text of all titles, this is not it.
  13. And you have updated "normal text" to 18 as I have been suggesting?
  14. The answer is given somewhere in another post.. You just need to add a space before and after pasting your link. So <space>ctrl-V<space>
  15. So you are updating "normal text" to match your desired style and it is reverting to back to the default font?
  16. What version and platform are you using? I don't really have this issue wih V10 on windows. Plus with the advent of the four header/normal text styles you have the added ability to change the style to whatever you want for the whole note.
  17. No way to move it so probably easiest to delete this one and add it to the correct forum.
  18. Very easy in V10. Go to the reminders tab. In one of the table views you get this: The reminder dates also stand out in snipet view.
  19. It's only in the legacy version not V10. In V10 there is the added complication of both checklists and checkboxes. The easiest way I have found to clear a checklist is to select the list, unclick the checklist button and then recheck it. This works well if you have a single continuous list but is a bit fiddly if you have numerous lists separated by text etc.
  20. I agree 100%. Why are we just stuck with the templates in the drop down list they think are most useful? We should be able to choose the templates we want (theirs or our own). To be honest it is easier to have a notebook of templates and just copy or duplicate one when needed.
  21. To my mind the current behaviour is a massive improvement on the legacy TOC. Two main reasons: I can paste the list of note links into a numbered list. I can then drag the items around if I want them in a different order and it automatically re-numbers the list I can paste my list of note links wherever I like. e.g add to an existing TOC or to a dashboard or wherever.
  22. It's in Version 10. Four customisable styles in the drop down with #, ## and ### markdown like shortcuts.
  23. It never seems to occur to anybody on these forums that we may not be representative of the typical EN user.
  24. My experience is the same as @Paul A. (I actually don't like the feature and wish I could switch it off like you can in the legacy version). Does this happen in the web version as well? I guesss if it is sporadic that will be difficult to test. You could try a force reload (I'm not on mac but on windows it's ctrl-shift-R). Again on Windows EN can get a fixation with some previous search - I don't know whether your issue is related. The way to get round it is to go to all notes and then close EN completly (including the EN icon) before switching off. Good luck!
