  1. In the post preceding yours, I provided a link to the Legacy version https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314?fbclid=IwAR2TNqp-eGRH3Ds8Vfu-CiKPjYolJzZ_keR9eWQaDahJ2GN-7hwn595zI8w&__s=bsetfdgzirbvqtopurph
  2. Evernote has not released an "upgrade" to a previous version This is a .0 release of a new product; a base framework for upcoming addition of features If you're interested in the previous product; it has been renamed to Evernote Legacy and can be downloaded at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314?fbclid=IwAR2TNqp-eGRH3Ds8Vfu-CiKPjYolJzZ_keR9eWQaDahJ2GN-7hwn595zI8w&__s=bsetfdgzirbvqtopurph
  3. Confirmed - export to HTML is pending implementation; no timeline specified In the meantime, I'm using the Legacy version
  4. imho Now is not the time to move to Evernote's version 10 I'm using Evernote's Legacy version
  5. The import failed with this message I tested the same .enex file with the Legacy version and it imported successfully
  6. You might want to test the exported .enex file I get
  7. You have the app installed on your device - no one can shut it down (don't sign out) You need to back up your data - particularly local notebooks Since they're not uploaded to the server, Evernote is not backing up local notebook data
  8. Did you look at Evernote's page on reverting to an older version https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote ,
  9. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314?fbclid=IwAR2TNqp-eGRH3Ds8Vfu-CiKPjYolJzZ_keR9eWQaDahJ2GN-7hwn595zI8w&__s=bsetfdgzirbvqtopurph
  10. Online - Attempt #1 - 10+GB but the export stalled at 4GB Attempt #2 - Successful Offline - Attempt + 1 - aborted shortly after starting Attempt #2 - 66MB but the export stalled at 16MB
  11. Do you have auto-filing enabled in in your user settings?
  12. It takes time to download the offline content How much time did you allow when online for this to complete?
  13. Interesting to see a positive post My issue is not about the direction; imho This version should not be a GA release until issues/bugs are resolved, and missing features implemented I recommend using the legacy versions until we see a GA quality release
  14. I merged your post with an existing request for Top List view To indicate support, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion
  15. The Legacy version (6.25.2) can be dowloaded at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314
  16. Mac users are familiar with the separate folder for each note; it doesn't slow processing Version 10 has one big .sql file holding the all note enml code and metadata It's no longer sqlite database storage which might add overhead to processing edit: The local storage is used when offline When online, data is accessed at the servers via the internet
  17. The legacy versions support Local Notebooks; unsync'd to the cloud servers Version 10 does not support Local Notebooks; all data is sync'd to the cloud servers >>...preserve my encrypted local folders. I can't believe the new version doesn't support note encryption! Encryption is another subject; no versions support note encryption or encrypted local folders
  18. Yes, the pdf is exported and editing is done on the local copy Saving the edits to the local copy is supposed to trigger an automatic update to the pdf in Evernote
  19. It's been pointed out that I'm putting too much faith in upcoming updates Perhaps, but mostly I'm taking a wait-and-see view The legacy version is working for me and I have no present need to update my software
  20. Only if you installed v10 software; I'm still running legacy on my Mac It's a great service and the legacy software runs well
  21. We're told the Evernote Helper app is pending In the meantime, you might be happier running the Legacy version
