  1. Just tried, not on all clients, but iPhone and Mac. A search brought up the exact same number of notes, looking for a tag. Make sure all clients are updated and synced. If this doesn't change the situation, uninstall the app from the iOS devices. Dump all data when asked. Now make a forced restart of the device. Reinstall the app, log in. Keep it open for a while to allow it to download all metadata.
  2. Reverse order is a good solution - I use it as well, it is simply most efficient. The direct way to scroll to the end is this: If you move a note down a little with your finger, a smallish scroll bar appears at the far right edge of the screen. You can place your finger on it and scroll very rapidly through the whole note. Bring it down to the bottom, and you are at the end of the note.
  3. It has nothing to do with being send away. Asking 22 days before a software is shut off to change another software that 99% of all users are employing is pointless. Trying to do so would be reckless. Supporting this is in my opinion ridiculous. Too late is too late, and it is nothing I feel ashamed about telling. Who wants to ask for features added to v10 can do this here: feedback@evernote.com Personally I hope EN staff will choose wisely and with reluctance. Nobody needs another piece of bloatware, just because it seems easier to ask for changes of an app instead of adapting and streamlining the own workflows and use habits. It may be a challenge, but it is for sure a chance.
  4. Where do you have it ? It is a bug, it was gone, reappeared, and at least for me is now fixed again. Maybe you need to update your clients.
  5. You can choose what you want. If you will be around in 1.000 years to find out if you can still read your notes from 2024 remain to be seen. I will greet you then …
  6. Which version(s) do you use ? Direct download or AppStore install ? Has the new Mac been set up with a TimeMachine backup from a HighSierra Mac ? Is the second Mac now on Sonoma ? In general you download the installer from the EN website, execute it, then open the app and log in. But in your case we should first look at your specific install. The older versions will not sync any more.
  7. Then you can’t - 22 days to find an alternative that can. You could have made the switch 3 years ago, and fight for features important to you. Or you are where you are now: Take it as it is, or leave.
  8. EN never had proper handwriting support. Penultimate was a joke compared to real handwriting apps. Noteshelf syncs directly into EN. We had some critical remarks about it in the Forum. Personally I use GoodNotes.
  9. No. Asked since v10 launched, not available. Send your request at feedback@evernote.com They must have a nice stack of these already.
  10. It is all explained here: https://evernote.com/blog/legacy-decommissioning
  11. @RonElDoradoHills Paul has answered it all. The editor build into v10 is practically unchanged since the launch. We can’t know what the new owners plan, but I doubt the editor will be fundamentally changed. It has everything I need for note taking, and notes show the same no matter which device is used to view them. Maybe see the new simplicity as a chance - reading about your stated use case and your questions I am asking myself if you didn’t overdo your use of layout functions. Less might be more.
  12. Your options to pick the update time are YES (now) or YES (next start of app).
  13. v10 will be slower than usual until offline content is downloaded. Keep the client running in the background to allow downloading. You could have found this advise in the forum if you had searched. Your happy hours will be over 23rd March.
  14. Can confirm this. Offline content is somehow broken on desktop. Ticket is running, with devs at the moment.
  15. I am in 5 digits notes as well, and I run 40 notebooks. It could be less, but I use some for sharing content in my projects as a freelancer. Just to mention it: I think any setup using a lot of notebooks, neglecting tags as main organizing tool is not making use of the powers of EN. Side effect: Efficient use of Import Folders.
  16. AFAIK the .exb file is from legacy. The resource-cache is from v10. An image of the exb will do you no good, because I doubt it will open with v10. But you can try.
  17. No full citations, please. Evernote Support Ticket: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  18. AFAIK the API is still not adapted to RTE. I may be wrong, but I haven’t heard it would be, the documentation doesn’t tell, and some projects (Filterize) have folded because of API problems. I don’t think it makes sense for any developer to start a project when we all can expect that after the demise of legacy (RIP) the API will get an overhaul as well.
  19. The new team is beefing up security as well. They do actively log out users with a weak account security level (bad passwords, no 2FA). But this is not the point here. If you want to keep legacy and use it WITHOUT SYNCING, ONLY TO ACCESS YOUR LOCAL NOTES, you need to be logged in first. After that you need to take the client OFFLINE and KEEP IT OFFLINE FOREVER. This makes no sense ? I don’t say it makes any sense - I just can tell you how it may work (however, no guarantees).
  20. Contact support if you don’t like something. The link is in the app settings, tab support (hope that this works, if nothing else). I would see this as a bottom category bug, no crashes, no data loss, just one client (iOS is working fine, thank you) etc. I doubt anybody will rush it But of course you can pour all your frustrations into this tiny issue - up to you.
  21. It does search, it does find, and it does list the notes where it found. To see what was found exactly in the pdf you need to go to the note, and use the „in note search“ or even the „in document search“.
  22. The only difference I am aware of is that you can restrict a search to the title only: intitle:searchterm
  23. It is basically the same: There are very little extensions for other apps, and the experience has been mixed in the past (to talk in positive words). Just look in the forum for the outlook extension. So the answer sticks. You can send your idea to feedback@evernote.com Always tell WHY you would like to get something.
  24. „The other way“ is a device running Android 9 and up.
