  1. Drag-n-dropping attachment to the note doesn't work when you try to attach files from some external device connected to PC (like Android phone/tablet). EN just keeps spamming "Something went wrong. Try later" popup. This never worked in v10 as far as I remember (never had any problems with attachments in v6).
  2. NOW I'm scared I just hope there'll be 'no any fancy syntax highlighting' option. And I hope EN won't try to automagically assign syntax to existing code-blocks. But that' exacly what will (most probably) happen, just like with "->" conversion.
  3. Oh common, BS has broken 'code block' -- it wasn't a code block BTW, just a block of text with monospace font, it's usually called "preformatted". (And yes, you coulld apply bold/italic/color over text in 'codeblock' because it's just a text with monospaced font) And now that 'code block' is really broken (I've put ticket about blank lines in codeblock several days ago).
  4. The best you can do -- file a support ticket and hope it'll be fixed. I've reported bug in code block formatting (emtpy lines not displayed as full-height empty lines) and still wating for something more that auto-reply. TBH I don't expect v10 to became any more usable in those several months (while I have some EN subscription left). I've had enough - BS didn't manage to replicate basic EN functionality in several years, so I'm just packing my things (evernote-backup) and moving to Obsidian (where I can keep markdown-formatting at least).
  5. evernote-backup (it's a command-line tool) By default, it exports each notebook into separate ENEX-file. There is undocumented option to export each note into separate ENEX-file (but it has issues with notes that have very long titles with special characters etc.).
  6. v.10 can't even export one notebok without errors (if that notebook has 200+ notes) Better option for backup would be evernote-backup tool, especially for those who has 50+ Gb of data and large notebooks with lots of notes.
  7. They -- BS -- don't seem to care (about your anger or disappointment). Judging from EN v10 updates (and I'm tried to use it from the very beginning, when they sneakily tried to 'upgrade' ), dev team just doing whatever fancy fluff they want instead of fixing year-long bugs. And even that fancy fluff typically doesn't work. Just look at '/' command or '->' madness. Bottom line -- I'd rather not hope for BS fixing/improving EN v10. Pick your alternative (Joplin, Notion, Obsidian), convert your notes (evernote-backup, yarle, Joplin) and move on -- this is probably best you can do about current EN situation.
  8. Obsidian is quite different from Evernote. You can try Joplin - kinda similar to Evernote experience, and exporting/importing notes via ENEX worked pretty good for my. (but don't try exporting via EN itself, use evernote-backup tool -- it's much more reliable and faster)
  9. I have ~60Gb evernote db (account info says I've premium subscription since 2009). Most of it transferrable via ENEX export/import, some stuff to be converted to markdown (and that's for better). v10 is not 'bearable enough' for me. Don't want to spent my energy trying to plead to fix bugs and implement missing features (which had to be done years ago). I'd rather spend my energy to make Obsidian perfect for me. And spend evernote-subscription money on new SSD
  10. Funny enough, but all this mess with retiring 'legacy' version has finally forced me to look at Obsidian seriously, which I did this weekend. Obsidian is quite different from EN, but it's much MUCH better suited for my needs. Some people don't like markdown formatting, but for me it's the best (I love writing tech docs in Typora). Whole Obsidian UI/experience is highly customizable (and since I'm a devloper, I can add/tweak pretty much anything I want/need). And I don't even need paid cloud-shmoud to sync my data across devices -- I already have server with Resilio Sync running for other purposes (yes, that works only for win/mac, but I don't need mobile version, to be honest). So, tomorrow is "abandon ship!" day. EN v10 is definitely not worth 100+ bucks a year and endless struggling simplest things. I don't even care about money that left for ~6 months of premium subscription.
  11. Yeah, and pay MORE money for buggy mess instead of working software - great business plan I'll try to push some issues via tickets while my premium subscription lasts, then just move on to Joplin. v10 is slow, buggy, unreliable mess, considering it's in development for years -- they still somehow failed to replicate basic fuctionality of original Evernote. Insteal, lots of (slow and buggy) bells and whistles were added. Damn, you can't even customize note-editing toolbar (to remove unneeded cr@p and add buttons you actully need all the time) -- MS Office allowed that 20 YEARS AGO. I remember the same ***** happened to Skype -- MS forced "new" app and "suddenly" everyone and his dog stopped using Skype. (because it was slow, buggy unreliable mess based on some fancy web-stuff, uniformly ugly on all platforms)
  12. And another observation about sync : when I open note with PDF attachment, EN doesn't even try to download that PDF until I scroll down (when it's visible). That delayed, sync-on-demand is just maddening...
  13. Yeah, I can live with that - still better than entering name manually.
  14. Yes, I've mis-clicked topic - it's about Windows client. Dragging file on notebook (note list) seems working. Newly created note is not selected though.
