  1. Evernote has an export feature - all notes in a notebook - selected notes So, search all notes with creation date 2021 > export There's two format options enex and html
  2. I added my vote for relative instead of absolute paths I don't want my images embedded I prefer to keep my images as separate entities along with the other attachment files >>The solution was to edit the html and change all the paths from absolute to relative. Thanks for sharing a working solution
  3. I rewrote my scripts to target notes in Devonthink Apple Notes is a poor replacement for Evernote (subjective on what you consider important) >>I don't like having notes in two apps Likewise
  4. As per @PinkElephant, Evernote's primary organization tool is the Tags feature Tags include a hierarchy for unlimited levels; maximum 100,000 entries I have 20k notes, minimal notebooks and under 500 tags
  5. Log out, log back in making sure to use the correct userid You can also bypass the phone app and use the web at www.evernote.com
  6. This is not a feature supported by Evernote - external service are required Personally, I use Applescript (Mac Legacy) to auto create my daily journal note each morning As @gazumped posted, a saved .enex file can be used as a template; when opened creates a note You need a scheduler to trigger the open On Macs, we have this scheduler via the launchd feature
  7. The "current product" (v10) is a work in progress In the initial release notes, Evernote advised users to continue using the Legacy product if there's an impact to workflow I chose to use the Legacy product and not participate in the v10 development
  8. My understanding the technical reason being the Version 10 product is cloud based
  9. No - Evernote doesn't directly sync to calendar apps; a third party service is required No - Reminders can not be specified without a time The value is stored as the # of seconds from the epoch date An All-Day flag would be required; perhaps a tag
  10. I don"t think anyone doubted this feature "can" be implemented However Evernote has not indicated an interest, or prioritized this feature I'm not "hopeful"; my solution for extended features is to use an external editor and store the attachment as a note editor
  11. Screenshot is from Preferences > Software Update (Mac Legacy direct download)
  12. Personally, I've turned off auto-update and have no problem using the Evernote Legacy product Evernote Legacy can be installed from https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote (Mac/Windows)
  13. Access the device list in your user settings Revoke access on the old phone Login with the new phone
  14. To be clear, Online notebooks are data stored on the server (the master version for syncing) Offline notebooks are a data copy stored on the device (for access while offline) Local notebooks are data stored only on the device; not uploaded to the server Local notebooks are only supported by the Evernote Legacy product Online and Offline notebooks are supported by both the Legacy and v10 products
  15. Not currently supported by Evernote My work-around is a script in Evernote Legacy on my Mac Third party Filterize is also a work-around In the work-arounds, tags are used to indicate recurring and the interval; for example !Recurring-Month1

    Backup

We expect/hope the note selection limit to be increased As to backup, an entire notebook can be exported with no note limit We recommend separate exports per notebook, since notebook information is not included innthe export data
  17. Currently, metadata like reminders is only supported at the note level Personally, my "To Do's" are separate notes; I have no problem setting alarms My "To Do list" is a list of notes, generate by a saved search
  18. As @Mike P posted, a Completed tag can be used I use the Reminder Feature; it stores due date and completion status/date I also export my data to a spreadsheet using a script on my Mac (Legacy)
  19. My opinion is that any edit should update the date-modified Why are you excluding certain edits? Is there a rule?
  20. Evernote Import Folders are a Windows thing, currently missing in the Version 10 product but we've been told implementation is pending. This is also planned for the Mac platform, which will be new For IOS, we import via the Share feature - it's functional in Version 10 In regards to installing software upgrades on the IOS platform We need to be extra careful because downgrading isn't supported
  21. I prefix my tagnames to reflect the hierarchy; for example Budget, Budget-Housing, Budget-HousingUtilities I can search for tag:Budget*
  22. You may be right, but why have you switched to a product that "sucks" It's definitely a work-in-progress Personally, I'm still using the Evernote Legacy product
