  1. Thank you. I don't have 10.57.1 available today. Your clarification is helpful. So I can't give you useful input now knowing you're on a different version. I'll leave you to your frustrations and hope you'll have success. Meanwhile, I'll still suggest uninstall/reinstall as a potential resolution.
  2. Yes, seriously. You just said "latest Evernote". That could very likely be different for you to me. The actual version number makes it much easier to assist. But I'm not excited about getting hot under the collar. Your experience is not mine with v10.57 which is my latest version.
  3. I'm not sure I first saw it in these forums but whatever. You have time to make your plans. Good luck with whatever you decide.
  4. You didn't say which version of the Android app you have. I hear that 10.57.1 had just been released. I have 10.57 and the sharing stuff works for me. I don't anticipate any difference with 10.57.1 Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? It is not unknown for problems after a version update.
  5. It was announced that Plus and Premium plans were being withdrawn when a user next renews. All were upgraded to Personal until the renewal date. You get a reminder of the new rate about a month before renewal. At that point you have the option to do nothing and renew at the new rate, drop to Free or leave completely. Leaving completely feels, to me, like cutting ones nose off to sleep the face. On Free you at least keep access to your notes and can continue to use your account subject to Free limits. That can give you the chance to make a plan without losing anything.
  6. There are many discussions on the difference between v10 CHECKLISTS and Legacy CHECK-BOXES. With patience they can coexist. V10 is keen to convert everything to a checklist. Check-boxes exist in the middle of text. So place a space or other character before a Check-box and it will remain. Put it at the start of a line and it will convert to a Checklist.
  7. I think I got this message from your posts in other threads. In general the code of conduct says not to post the same content multiple times. This is especially relevant since you are talking to fellow users rather than Evernote staff. As others have said. This change isn't coming at any time soon if ever. I fear you'll need to make a plan for the future or make peace with this.
  8. Go to the web clipper settings and either disable keyboard shortcuts or change the CMD+C option.
  9. Access your account settings and choose Cancel. This will set your account to not renew. At that point you will drop to Free. All your existing notes will remain in your account but you will become liable to the Free note and data limits
  10. @Federico Simionato I tried 10.57 today and the freezing issue seems to have continued. I did an AI search and got results. But then the whole process of accessing notes seemed to freeze although I think everything just ground exceedingly slow. It took sometime to be able to back out of the search results and carry on with normal service. Since I don't really use AI Powered Search this isn't going to affect me too much. We'll see if others are still affected after receiving 10.57
  11. With Firefox older versions are available via the add-on repository. I've no idea if there is such a thing for other browsers.
  12. Please supply the information requested in reply to the support Email. If only to say the support forums have been unable to help you. They are, for sure, extremely busy at the moment. A paid subscription doesn't provide a premium support. It just gives access to tech support which free users don't get. Sadly the standard support does take long time at present.
  13. I guess you did not keep the emergency codes either... If you still have these stored away then that's the way to go. Otherwise, in the Evernote app on your phone go to Settings. Then choose More Settings. This will load your account settings. Choose the three bar 'hamburger' menu and select Security Summary. Login with your password. Then on the two step verification section select Manage Settings. If you are lucky this will enable you to view backup codes or disable two step verification. More likely it will prompt you for a code in which case select the option which is something like I forgot my codes. This will prvide a number of options to obtain a code or use one of the emergency codes. Once you have access to your account you will need to either disable 2FA or set up one of the many authenticator apps. Google works but many recommened Authy. You choose whichever you want assuming you want the extra security. Usually it works best to disable 2FA then reenable with your new authenticator.
  14. That's strange. I open the Email in Gmail. Click the Evernote Web Clipper and choose clip as Article. Perform the clip and a moment or two later the correct Email appears in Evernote looking identical to what was on screen in the browser minsue the Gmail menus. I have web clipper 7.33.1.558 Firefox 118.0.2 I checked in Chrome browser with the same result. I just created a test Email and clipped. This is how it looks in my Evernote account
  15. You could export each notebook as an ENEX file. Then import it into your new Free/Personal/Professional account. To export open the Notebooks windows and click the three dot menu option and follow the export options. Do this by notebook so that when you import you still know which notebook is involved.
  16. I'm not sure why you'd think that there isn't anyone working on the web clipper. It is updated from time to time - my version was last updated on 24 June 2023. However, there is no guarantee that anyone from Evernote will review posts in this thread. You should submit a support ticket or feedback@evernote.com to be sure that your comments are noted. I'll add that the clip as Article produces an exact copy of the Email from my Gmail account. I'm actually not sure what is supposedly missing.
  17. Yes 10.56 had a bug with AI Powered Search. Looks like 10.57 is set resolve that.
  18. Evernote has never offered full markdown support. This thread dates back to 2015. So no evidence that there is the slightest intention to go beyond the basic markdown style text shortcuts for things like headers. The new owners might be persuaded to reconsider but, at least for now, that seems unlikely. Even if it was accepted as a suggestion to take forward Is guess that it would require a returning of the editor code. That's so fundamental that it would likely take months to develop and integrate. So make a request to Evernote but don't expect anything in the near or mid-term.
  19. The colour stuff could be resolved when you need to review a particular note. But I think the PDF suggestion isn't bad at all. As for check boxes, v10 added a new additional feature called check lists. These items are struck out as well as checked when completed. The strike out has a setting to disable if you wish. The old check boxes remain BUT if you place one at the start of a line followed by text, it will convert to a new check list. If you want to force a check box then you need to add a space before the box. Check boxes with in the middle of text.
  20. Colour is not supported in code blocks. I think the typical work around is to store code in a single cell table and format it in the cell. Otherwise use a dedicated code writing application and store output file inside a note. But that won't rescue your code that is already captured. There are mixed views on use of Evernote for capturing code snippets. You can see both sides of the argument in the forums. Meanwhile submit feedback to Evernote. Either open a support ticket or Email feedback@evernote.com Remember, though, even if the suggestion is accepted it will be many months before this is released.
  21. For many things. What do you have in mind? This thread was started for the old software. There has never been any indication that this is planned or something to wait for.
