  1. Type a character at the end of your note. A space is probably the best.
  2. This is an interesting discussion. I see both sides and have my own view which side I would err upon. However, I'm not sure it is ultimately very useful in that it doesn't influence the program development one bit. I might submit a ticket or send to feedback@evernote.com I'm certain that waiting in these forums for a change is likely to be fruitless. At least it has been so far.
  3. @Boot17 is correct. You could also lose notes created or amended whilst off line for any reason so be sure to go online and allow all notes to sync before uninstalling the store version of the app.
  4. Try this variety of the support link... It should bypass the login. Be sure to select subscription/billing https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true
  5. Instead of copying and pasting, would it work to duplicate the previous note? Open note 0, TSP the three dot menu and choose duplicate. This becomes note 1 etc. There might be fewer key strokes involved.
  6. I believe that Microsoft made changes so now you wait for whatever response is possible. I suspect it will be some time, if ever, that the Outlook add-on will be updated. Personal view. No inside information.
  7. I've no experience of Notion. Will be interested in your discoveries. But I know that there are two key operations if I'm making a move. 1. Can I import my Evernote data and have a broadly functioning collection of notes which return this format and content? 2. Can I export my days from the new service in a format that is readily transferable to another service? When I've played with other services in the past they have mostly failed on point 2 and some fall at the first hurdle.
  8. Actually, I think that Evernote's core business had been desktop apps. No doubt, like many other sectors, the 'mobile first' vision is taking over. But desktop remains, I think, the primary focus at the moment. You're right that the Bending Spoons acquisition looked positive earlier in the year. It has a much stronger mobile offering so that may push mobile to the fore. We'll have to see.
  9. In that case there is no option and it will not be updated. The old software is no longer supported.
  10. You could use evernote-backup (free) or Backupery (paid) to automate this while process of needed.
  11. Mr Payne, Are you being unnecessarily unpleasant to other users? That snipe seems unhelpful at best. I've made a note not to offer help on this issue in case it produces a similarly offensive response.
  12. Yes, 10.58.1 on an Android device. I opened a new note, tapped the blue + button and chose to attach an image. Selected and added to the note without a problem. Then I went to the device image gallery, selected an image, chose share and selected Evernote. Followed the process and the note was added to a new note. Works for either way for me.
  13. I think you have to raise this with Noteshelf. It isn't an integration provided by Evernote.
  14. Two strangely unconnected contributions to unrelated threads today. I see that you tried to open a discussion about this topic with more detail on 24 October but, so far, nobody has responded. That probably indicates that nobody has anything useful to contribute. I'd suggest you keep your attempts to trigger interaction in that thread. Just randomly posting will only iritate fellow users. There are few staff around.
  15. I think you may need to give us a bit more help. My guess is that you don't have an Evernote Teams account. But it would help for you to tell us if you have a Free account or which subscription level you are on. Also, which device and operating system together with details of which version of the Evernote app you are using. Am I correct in understanding that you have not had access to your notes for two months?
  16. The good news is that this is on the UI team's agenda. I can't say when it will appear for general release but sooner rather than later I hope.
  17. It is a bit more complex. Microsoft made a change in Windows 11 a year or so back. At that point regardless of the keystrokes you choose for the Evernote screen clipper it, instead, launches the Windows snipping tool. Apparently Windows 11 captures Evernotes screen clipper. The only workaround is to use the Windows tool and then paste the captured image into the desired note. I prefer to use Win+Shift+S since that takes me straight to the crosshairs like the Evernote clipper. OR Select the Windows snipping tool directory as an Import Folder. Then using the Windows snipping tool with Win+Shift+S will do exactly the same as the Evernote screen clipper. If it helps, most accounts have the screenclips saved in C:\Users\your-windows-username\Pictures\Screenshots
  18. I think I disagree but I have been known to be wrong. I wish you well trying to get it resolved. Don't build your hopes on a quick solution.
  19. Yes, I agree. The calendar entry says 'Busy' but the reminder to take a note uses the full event description. I'd say that Google is incorrectly releasing the private information which the reminders are somehow managing to see.
  20. Of the cuff, I don't remember what Google means by a private setting but I imagine that if it reports to Evernote as private/busy it could be the Google is revealing the data when it should remain private. I'll make a test and report back. I look forward to hearing what you discover.
  21. No, just another user like you. These forums are largely user-to-user support. Staff all have Staff label.
  22. I think that there may have been an Outlook update which no longer supports the Evernote add-in. If that is correct then you will be waiting for the release of an updated version.
  23. My favourite search engine pointed me to the Evernote help pages which included a link to submit a request for help from Evernote support. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true Submit a request for the Account area. Expect a wait of 10-14 days for your response. You'll need a new Email address that isn't the one you used to create your new, empty account.
  24. There aren't new releases every other day. Perhaps every week or two but not every other day. So there is something else amiss. You could try a complete radical uninstall and then reinstall. Do this with Revo Uninstaller on Windows or Appcleaner on Mac.
  25. Thanks for the clarification. My reading of your first post took me a different route. Sorry.
