  2. It looks like you are still using the old version of the software. You need to be using v10 either on the desktop or web. It's this web or desktop?

One practical thing that I was advised by our solicitor to do was to leave instructions in my will about what I wanted to happen to my digital footprint and to authorise my executors to have access to my various accounts. Apparently some cloud service providers require a proper transfer of authority.

  5. I suppose, in theory, this could be a good place to find help but in practice there are very few developers working with the API and they don't come around here often if at all. Perhaps someone will appear and take us all by surprise.
  6. First of all CANCEL your account. THat simply takes you out of the automatic renewal on the annual plan. Once your account drops to Free you can then resubscribe on the monthly deal. Or you can contact Billing support and they will be likely to assist with a switch to monthly billing.
  7. As I noted above, Evernote excludes most special characters from searches. As @AlbertR nudged me to say, the underscore is one of those that is included in search results. So, the question to ask is whether the underscore that you have is an ASCII 095 character or another character that looks like an underscore but isn't recognised as such by a search by Evernote. Possibly a more likely issue is that the indexing of your notes has become garbled. You could try rebuilding your local data and see if that gets your search working again. File, Sign Out from your desktop application and select 'Remove my Evernote data from this device' When you sign back in your notes will be recreated and re-indexed. That might fix your search. When you sign back in leave your account to carry out the rebuild of your data before initiating a search. You can use the account and open notes but the full rebuild takes a little while. If neither of these ideas offers a solution then you'll need to join the queue of those asking for tech support assistance. Mostly those of us here are just fellow users.
  8. The behaviour of the back button has been acknowledged and added to things to be addressed as reported in another thread.
  9. I've had the message after each of the last two version updates. I Quit the app and then log back in and that had fixed it each time.
  10. Best to also submit this as a support ticket or to feedback@evernote.com I can't say if it will be accepted but even if it is be ready for several months or much more for it to arrive.
  11. It isn't possible unless. Sorry. Actually, if your printer has an app to link your phone to the printer then you could share the note with the printer app and print by that means. But there is no print function in the Evernote mobile app.
  12. Have you tried access via the web browser client? If all your notes are present there then nothing is lost. Then rebuilding your local data may be the resolution.
  13. The current release is 10.64.4 so things have moved on. You can wait for Evernote to send you the latest version or you can download the current version from evernote.com which should have this new version soon if it has not already arrived. The Check for Updates menu option may not tell you that there is a more up to date version available. This doesn't apply to the application from the Microsoft Store. That will update in its own time as decided by the store. All that said, we're not seeing lots of reports of this issue so getting the latest version installed may fix things for you. You can also check the web browser client and see if your notes are stil present.
  14. There is a new version released today, 10.57.1 Try that and see if it resolves things for you.

Unless you were a Premium plan subscriber locked in to an even old price in which case you kept exactly the same service you'd always had, at the old price (which did get an increaseawhile back) but minus a few of the new features. The rest of us, having been re-branded as Personal, subsequently had an increase in price to the new levels. I think the old Plus and Premium plans were inevitably going to go and, it seems, now is the time.
  16. Thank you. I don't have 10.57.1 available today. Your clarification is helpful. So I can't give you useful input now knowing you're on a different version. I'll leave you to your frustrations and hope you'll have success. Meanwhile, I'll still suggest uninstall/reinstall as a potential resolution.
  17. Yes, seriously. You just said "latest Evernote". That could very likely be different for you to me. The actual version number makes it much easier to assist. But I'm not excited about getting hot under the collar. Your experience is not mine with v10.57 which is my latest version.

  19. You didn't say which version of the Android app you have. I hear that 10.57.1 had just been released. I have 10.57 and the sharing stuff works for me. I don't anticipate any difference with 10.57.1 Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? It is not unknown for problems after a version update.
  20. It was announced that Plus and Premium plans were being withdrawn when a user next renews. All were upgraded to Personal until the renewal date. You get a reminder of the new rate about a month before renewal. At that point you have the option to do nothing and renew at the new rate, drop to Free or leave completely. Leaving completely feels, to me, like cutting ones nose off to sleep the face. On Free you at least keep access to your notes and can continue to use your account subject to Free limits. That can give you the chance to make a plan without losing anything.
  21. There are many discussions on the difference between v10 CHECKLISTS and Legacy CHECK-BOXES. With patience they can coexist. V10 is keen to convert everything to a checklist. Check-boxes exist in the middle of text. So place a space or other character before a Check-box and it will remain. Put it at the start of a line and it will convert to a Checklist.
  22. I think I got this message from your posts in other threads. In general the code of conduct says not to post the same content multiple times. This is especially relevant since you are talking to fellow users rather than Evernote staff. As others have said. This change isn't coming at any time soon if ever. I fear you'll need to make a plan for the future or make peace with this.
  23. Go to the web clipper settings and either disable keyboard shortcuts or change the CMD+C option.
