  1. EN is keeping more than 1 copy of each users data, and they keep it in different data centers. Usually an automatic routing will make each user work on the datacenter closest (in networking terms) to his point of internet entry. They alternate maintenance, what means that usually there is another data center to serve user requests if the one closest is taken off the grid. In effect you practically always get at your data, but it may be the reaction time is significantly longer than usual when the alternate has kicked in. The status website will tell.
  2. The process is very much in control. It is called agile software development, and you find it in more and more places. It drives progress by many, but in itself incremental improvements, leading to a steady flow of innovation. One side effect is that QA is easier when changes are smaller, and if a bug evaded detection, the next update is always just around the corner. Usually what will be released in 4 cycles from today is defined just now, what we see in 3 cycles is in coding, 2 cycles is with QA and documentation and the next cycle is in release management. If something does not make it, it can easily be stopped and delayed one cycle (or more), because again there are many cycles, and not much is lost by delaying it by 2 weeks. How often a new release will show ? If they keep the pace, desktop roughly every 2 weeks - we had initial launch in October 2020, 90 weeks since, and we count rel. 10.41 today. On mobile a little less, released in September 2020, 85 weeks since, and release 10.36 as of today. So, just get used to get a new version every 2 weeks - it is your subscription money at work.
  3. No advise in the classical way here, but we can share some ideas. A) First I would like to get more specific with your syncing issue. Is the problem that notes created on an iOS device is not syncing to the server ? If yes, have you checked this by looking at the server data through the web client ? Or is the problem that notes created on other devices do not reach an iOS device ? Same question: Have you counter checked the server status of these notes ? One is syncing up (to the server), the other is syncing down (from the server). These are different processes. B ) In your list of actions, I miss the first level action: Log out of your account in the app. Then close the app, restart the iOS device, open the app again and log in. Some users even uninstall, but don’t log out before. If you didn’t log out yet, I think it is worth a try. C) To create a sync, it should be enough to pull the notes list down a little with a finger, and let go. If there is anything to sync, this should do. For starters I think these are enough ideas. Maybe we step on one cure for your problem while you try.

  5. There have been NO posts at all in this thread for a year - none. But you claim it must be a pressing issue, all hands need to work to resolve it ?! Can you explain your -sorry - pretty lonely position here ? We might even have an idea how to resolve the issue - which may explain why nobody felt an urge to post anything here. A better forum check would probably reveal the solution to you without a need to come back here. Otherwise I would like to get a better description of what you experience - just yelling „I have it as well“ is not really a sound description.

  7. You should know yourself what you are paying for. In the meantime there is a consensus that the image that is added and saved first will (likely) become the thumbnail. It will not be altered even when other pics are added later, after the server has created and saved the thumbnail. It may be a nuisance, and in some cases (like web clips) not really practical - but at least there is a way to choose the thumbnail. But taken for itself I would not be paying for it …
  8. You can use legacy as long as it works. No support, no fixes. You can use the new clients, that are permanently updated and gain new features. You can switch to another app. What will not happen: A revival of the legacy client. You can base any decision on this cornerstone.
  9. We do know what is going on in Ukraine, with all the ugly details … In fact I don’t care if connecting from Russia is still a possibility. If you want to find out, you got all the advise you need.
  10. You may have been blocked, but from what I see in the forum it is much more likely you were blocked by your own government. As suggested by @gazumped, ask support to get an official statement.
  11. @Paddy Paddy No @EN here, just other users. You put a very high evaluation on your very personal opinion. If others do it fine - doing it yourself … Using boldface does not change the truth behind a statement, it just enhances the impression of noise without value to me. Currently there are 15 votes in as many months for this thread - it seems the issue is much less popular than you try to make people think.
  12. Well, Russia is under boycott. Furthermore the Russian government is implementing measures to block the free access from Russia to services and information outside of their control (read censorship). I won’t start a discussion about the reasons here, but you may see a situation when every cloud service will only be accessible through a VPN. The same is probably true for payments.
  13. Actually I don’t care what Windows does. It is implement as it is, and there are reasons why it is implemented that way. A action on a note is documented as an update. If you want a change, ask EN via support ticket or feedback.
  14. Good that you are enthusiastic - however for a single user, the concept of spaces makes no sense at all. Spaces are meant to define areas of data access. By allocating different users to a space, access to data is granted - and can easily be revoked again. It is all about different users. You can ask for single features - use the feedback function in the clients.
  15. All official EN integrations are listed on the EN website. WeChat is NOT listed. Whoever offers this integration, go ask them.
  16. There seems to be an issue, and from what I hear it is not resolved yet. EN released a support document that shows a workaround: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/217930798 Not really a solution, but at least a way to save content otherwise lost (No, not good at all).
  17. When nobody posted for more than a year now, I would not expect this issue to be wide spread. When it happens next time, I would jot down what I did (change to which app, last action in EN, system situation, network quality, whatever may be helpful), save the activity log and then contact support. Use the same device where it happened and send the activity log when asked.
  18. For me it is not clear what is meant by „perfectly formatted“. There are different way of formatting, the legacy client can be used, the v10 client, there are different elements etc. If the formatting is altered, I would check if the content is altered as well. And in general (and if on a subscription) I would contact support about it.
  19. In this case I would ask you to contact support. The forum is user2user, and likely we could only reproduce the same observation.

  21. Why … don‘t you ask support ? Login problems are often difficult to solve without access to the log files (and no, we don‘t want and read log files here, we are other users).
  22. Since there are places where you can downvote as well, it probably is a word worth using.
  23. Have you reported the issue to support yet ? Posting in the forum is fine for other users, but only support tickets will trigger a corrective action.
  24. Are all system settings enabled ? MacOS settings, Security, Privacy, tab Screen Recording.
