That's the tag list - it shows all tags in the account, The Tag Selector was in the Note Filter at the top of the note list It's a filtered list of tags; just tags in the note list

We have an assortment of highlight colours, lol

Yes to the notes being re-downloaded - You can see the progress in the Notebook list No to duplication

By default, notes have no font setting and the default display font is different for each platform/device on a Mac, the default display font can be set to any value for a consistent note font; override the default display font by specifying the font for selected text within the note

On Mac, use Option Key + 🔼 in the Note List panel

The content is not deleted You will still have view access to oversize notes however you will not be able to edit them

Integration is provided via the Evernote APIs afaik There has been no change to these APIs

The only markdown I've seen is # coding for heading styles Be aware the markdown coding is not maintained; it's converted to html syntax
