Just tested, and Recover worked for me I was starting a new note so it wasn't valid, but it did recover sketching from a previous note

Please add "Filter by Tag" to the menu when clicking on a tag at the top of the note list (screenshot from a Mac) This is the tag equivalent of available by clicking on the notebook

imho The tag experience is greatly improved - We now have access to tag hierarchy - I rarely add new tags, but the old method of just typing led to many accidental additions I like the confirmation step

Until this get's implemented - I use using scripting on a Mac (Applescript) - Another alternative is third party Filterize
