  1. Don’t see this, but maybe I am not on the latest version. My AppStore tells 10.80.0 is the latest release for iOS. That’s what I am running.
  2. Please first confirm you are on iOS and not on MacOS. Second post your OS version and the version number of your EN client.
  3. You know how to eat an elephant elephant size mouse ? Cut it into steaks, don‘t try to eat it all at once. There is a reason to first see that the web client returns to work for you: Check if the database on the cloud server is still intact. It is not necessary or leading anywhere to think about clients that all have copies of notes - the first and most important is the server master copy. If the cloud copy is ok, it is easy to nuke the clients, and force a reload from the web server. But first things first … Either use a different browser (like Firefox, it runs on an engine independent from all Chrome based browsers), and before trying to open EN erase all website data. Or clean out your existing browser - which will as well erase the data for other websites.
  4. Google knows about that as well: In the forum one other case is documented, from summer 2023. It started as well with a chunk load error, the thread has 2 posts and was not resolved or followed up in the forum. That‘s all for EN. In general chunk load errors can occur in js (Java Script) environments. They result from a conflict of new and cached code chunks (pieces of code, one is calling the other). The resolution in general is to get rid of the cached content.
  5. To second what @Mike P says: A chunk load error occurs when internally a piece of code is called, and it meets an old stored (cached) piece of data instead of a correctly loaded chunk. Not my wisdom, but the result of spending 5 minutes with Google. This problem con only be resolved step by step. I think as well that liberating the web client first makes sense, because it allows to check the master copy of your notes, on the cloud server. The next steps depend on the question if these notes are found healthy and intact, or not. If the master copy is intact, the probably best method is to nuke one clients install after the other, and reestablish connection to the server. If the server copy is already corrupted (which is unlikely but not impossible), the only way will be through support.
  6. If EN web tells your computer doesn’t have sufficient space to run it, your drive must be filled to the last sector. The web client only requires a little free space for some caching. Have you checked your system drive ? How much free space is available ? You don’t need to phantasize about installing a client and your data if you have nothing where to install. The installed clients need a lot more space than the web client. I don’t know how large your EN database may be, but you should have approximately 100GB available. This includes room for the system to breathe (swapping for example), system updates, the EN client and your database.
  7. This help document should tell all essentials: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005557-Export-notes-and-notebooks-as-ENEX-or-HTML You can access the help database yourself - it has a pretty good search function.
  8. Why do you want to kill any process manually ? When the app is closed, it is still running in the background, ready to launch. All processes are necessary and kept running. Use Quit from the File menu to fully stop the app. This will remove all active processes.
  9. Skitch is outdated and has been withdrawn from the AppStore. It can't be installed any more. As a (better) replacement, try Shottr. To send screenshots directly into EN, save them into a folder. Make this folder an Import Folder in EN settings.
  10. Personally I had no problems. Do you run any security / privacy software on your network, like a Pi-Hole ? If such a case should repeat itself, try if it works using mobile data.
  11. The browser version will update itself, usually at the time the client is released. There is no way to force it.
  12. Export to HTML is probably the best option. Export to pdf would work as well, but with that format you loose all attachments, except pictures.
  13. Pinning a note again works in v10.80.3 (maybe on earlier versions as well) by placing a reminder on that note. The reminder must be set to "Without Date" to pin the note. Every note with such a reminder will stay on top of the notes list in every notebook. Very simple solution to the request. The only downside is it is not official, and it had stopped working (probably by accident) before.
  14. It seems auto update got stuck for you. The current version on the Mac is 10.80.3. If you use the direct install, simply quit EN. Go to the website and download the installer. Run it, then open, log in if necessary. Check if this solves your problem. If not, you probably need to replace your (likely corrupted) local database.
  15. Windows behaves weird. On the Mac neither shrink nor expand makes the arrows go. They always show.
  16. The build in solution is the same as it always has been: Export notebook by notebook to ENEX, name each file after the notebook. A higher automated approach can be found here, provided you don’t shy away from a few command line / terminal entries: https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup Everything necessary is properly documented on that GitHub site. You can even run it on machines where no EN client will execute.
  17. Calling things stupid without knowing is becoming rampant in the forum. I think learning is a measure against it: You can export all attachments from several selected notes, even from a full notebook. Select what you want to export, choose EXPORT and export as HTML. All attachments will be nicely arranged as files in a subfolder of the export folder. Done. We have shared this solution several times in this forum already. Maybe use the forum search to find best practice answers like this one.
  18. It may well depend on how you talk to them - when you finally made it to somebody to talk to. I agree that even the second and sometimes the third answers still left room for improvement. Our last discussion was about whether EN „employs“ an AI bot to produce the 1st level answers. If you want to move from that to a more general view, maybe start a new thread, and collect some of the less than useful support interactions you and others have experienced. Perhaps there is a pattern.
  19. When you quote Mrs.Thunberg, put it into quotation marks: „How dare you …“. Better ! Actually I am not rude, not to you, not to anybody else. I just call things what they are. And some have a problem with that - which is not my problem. Capiche ?
  20. Unfits (and misfits) should go watching elsewhere. It’s that simple. You can understand this now, or wake up in a better reality in about a week.
  21. If you feel stupid you must know yourself. I call a certain strategy stupid that is by self declaration completely selfish, does contribute nothing to the quality of this forum and is beside this by design pointing nowhere. It is just poisoning this place - maybe by accident, probably by intention. Feel free to continue posting, within the limits of the code of conduct.
  22. Task manager, Workflow builder, Home dashboard, Collaborative editing tool - you forgot a few. Maybe because these were added in v10, and are seemingly ignored by some users, for unexplained reasons. But no matter, we normal EN users enjoy the added functionalities, and wait for more to come. AI editing is right now entering the beta stage, and looks promising.
  23. … and couldn’t be more stupid. First this is a user forum, nobody here to pressure. Second you are just now learning (with everybody else) that there is a minuscule group of vocational dead-horse-race enthusiasts in a sea of v10 users. Which makes your promotion of dead horses just the more hollow. The decision has been taken, 8 more days to go. You better put your focus in whatever strategy you have developed for yourself to be able to use your notes after L-day. Everything else is just self bullshitting (amazingly it works completely without using PowerPoint in this case). Your wish to be ignored can’t be granted: Too many bogus arguments raised, too many false assumptions spread. Feel free to ignore yourself, the forum allows for it. Maybe better for your peace of mind.
  24. Why clutter the interface with yet another icon ? Settings are in the menu, and I really don’t flip them around enough to make an icon a necessity.
