  1. All better now. Who knows ... Santa, a hungry reindeer, the Grinch. Fröhliche Weihnachten!
  2. Hi (and good to see you again, PE!). Checked the status, and also see no irregularities, but also no report at all this week. No network issues on my end--all other sites are reachable, including the main evernote.com itself! Mysterious.
  3. Is anyone else experiencing this? December 24, 2021, starting around 5:00 pm Eastern US, evernote.com is accessible, forums are accessible, but https://www.evernote.com/Login.action is not accessible. I cannot log in on the Web, and the Windows app can't sync. But the Android app logs in and syncs successfully. I can't even log in to support to report it there. Hopefully a very temporary glitch, but so far it's lasted 15-20 minutes.
  4. But is it possible to click the gray bar at the top of the HTML box to get the "make editable" magic wand? Or doesn't that work for material that originated in a Web clip?
  5. @oden, I'm inclined to agree with you. But please post a message only once; multiple posting only adds to the clutter.
  6. I suspect that @bswiss56 is on a Mac, where I think the last previous version was 7. But just guessing.
  7. Hi, and welcome to the forums. I'm not sure what "mobile responsive" meant in the original post. If the calendars are tables, then indeed the Evernote mobile apps have not, in the past, been able to work well with tables. But if you simply can't access any templates at all, that's a different story. I find that I am able (in a very quick test) to apply the monthly calendar template to a note I'm creating. I'd suggest posting this in the Android-specific forum, where you might more readily encounter others with a similar problem. Or, since you've got a Premium subscription you might want to contact Evernote support; we're mainly other users here.
  8. Hi, and welcome to the forums. Until this feature is added back into the most recent version of Evernote for Windows (hopefully), you'll need to use the "legacy" version 6.25 to do this as you have before. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314 for information on getting the legacy app. Let me suggest also that you not use your email address as your username in these forums. They are very public places, and a bad actor could snag it.
  9. For those who haven't used OneNote, can you explain how "print to a notebook" works? Evernote has multiple ways of getting material into a note--at least the legacy version 6.25 does--including: email or forwarded email; import folder (scan or copy a document to a specified folder, and Evernote will automatically import it to a note); Windows Send To (implemented through the Windows Explorer right-click menu); Web clipper, for Web pages in a browser. Hope this is some help.
  10. Hi, and welcome to the forums. These are primarily user-to-user, and for an issue like this, it might be worth contacting Evernote support, since you have a Premium subscription.
  11. This page has information for installing the older "legacy" version: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314.
  12. Another good link to include here would be Keyboard shortcuts in Evernote for Windows, with its comparison between the current and older versions.
  13. These are primarily user-to-user forums, so you are only swearing at other people who are (mostly) also disappointed. Honestly, no offense, but it's kind of like the guy at the sports bar who curses out the manager and the star players and the team ownership while glaring at his fellow disappointed fans. Since you have a Premium subscription, you have the privilege of swearing directly at Evernote support. They at least get paid to read it.
  14. Good catch. Works in the Web client too. The list of Windows keyboard shortcuts does not include it.
  15. This is great for people who are able (and have the time) to do their own coding. But Evernote (and presumably Joplin too) is mainly aimed at people who just want to get some work or household stuff done without much hassle. V 10 introduced a bunch of unannounced hassle, but hopefully it will improve in the coming weeks and months.
  16. Glad it's working well for you. Indeed, it does promise to get better. But lack of communication left a lot of people with bad surprises. Why pass judgment on other people's workflows or what is an edge case? Just be glad your own pet function didn't get borked.
  17. Hi, and welcome to the forums. Please see https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314 for an explanation of how to install the previous version.
  18. Hi, and welcome to the forums. I can only speculate, but these are my speculations (in reverse order of your questions): Forum access level has never been linked to subscription level. It's a separate operation, and the forums are really the only meaningful support for people on Basic subscriptions. Please look around, and notice the volume of posts made in the last week or two. It's massive because of the, um, "surprising" nature of the roll-out of the new app versions. I'm not surprised that moderators are a bit overwhelmed.
  19. Hi, and welcome to the forums. In an announcement about the initial release of v. 10 (https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047889234) it is stated that app preferences are not yet implemented Supposedly they are coming in the future. Presumably that will include the language setting, but honestly none of us users knows.
  20. Hi, and welcome to the forums. This forum is for v. 10 of the Windows desktop program. To report a problem in the Web client, please go to: https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/forum/235-web-client-issues/.
  21. Agreed. Another user also reports that this update fixed the nasty bug where the editing toolbar would disappear and kick you out to the note list.
  22. I see I'm on 10.2.1 now also, so I will watch to see whether this is indeed fixed.
