  1. I'm seeing basic search capabilities with both the Legacy and v10 products Advanced search features are supported with the Professional account tier
  2. Most definitely auto-renewal You can check your renewal details in your account settings > subscription For the prorated and refund question, open a support ticket at https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action
  3. I wouldn't say disarray - Evernote is in transition (Legacy product > v10 product) Personally, I decline to participate in this beta testing / early access I'm still using the Legacy product
  4. Confirmed, we all were in a "trial period"; Evernote called it Early Access, something like public beta testing Premium/Personal accounts will continue to have access to basic task features Access to the full set of task features is available to accounts at the Professional tier >>Premium accounts (I pay the yearly, $45 level) Evernote has adjusted it's account tiers Basic > Free Premium > Personal and a new tier Professional
  5. Quite "tunable" via scripting (applescript) Evernote dropped scripting support for the v10 product
  6. That's fix-able, but I'm unwilling to pay the price increase for the top tier In fact, I will not be paying any future subscription fee
  7. I disagree with "rocks" I've always considered EN mobile to be a supplement to the desktop app
  8. You should open a support ticket at https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action
  9. Why a "downgrade"? I'm seeing it as a renamed Premium tier, plus some features (as others pointed out)
  10. My price stays the same Cdn$89.99 yearly ymmv I hear British customers were hit with an increase
  11. afaik There is no price increase for the Personal/Premium tier Edit: No price increase for me (Canadian) I'm disappointed at not being grandfathered into the Professional tier
  12. afaik Existing export option (.enex .html) are available at all account levels
  13. So, the email "We’ll upgrade you into a new, more powerful Evernote plan at the same price you’re paying now." isn't happening. I'm switched to Personal which is the former Premium edit; Personal is the "new, more powerful Evernote plan"
  14. Lets try that again My Premium account switched to Personal I was expecting to be switched to the new Professional level btw My information on the left says Subscription: PREMIUM Quoting from the July 7 email In the coming weeks, here’s what you can expect: • We’ll upgrade you into a new, more powerful Evernote plan at the same price you’re paying now. • You’ll keep all the Evernote features and services the Premium plan offers today. • Your updated plan will also include brand new features to help you stay on top of your day-to-day.

The "other content" is text based, in enml/html format The Apple Pencil sketch is an image based sketch attachment file, displayed inline I use the Apple Pencil on my iPad with the Notability app It does a nice job of integrating text and images I use the share menu to send the document to Evernote in pdf format
  16. I actually don't use the v10 product or "tasks section of the sidebar" It's a work-in progress and imho not ready for general use >> what criteria do you use to do a task and not another? I note the task feature includes task due date That's a good criteria My legacy task process stores due date in the Reminder feature (also completion status/date) I use two priority tags; Urgent and Important (Eisenhower matrix) I use saved searches to generate my task lists
  17. Accessing the in-app note link evernote:///view/1234567/s10/b797d9f4-c3eb-44c1-9619-6fb3206995a0/b797d9f4-c3eb-44c1-9619-6fb3206995a0/ Note id: b797d9f4-c3eb-44c1-9619-6fb3206995a0 Account id: 1234567 Using the Evernote Legacy product on a Mac I access the Evernote database (SQLite) and view the tables and GUID column /Users/DTLow/Library/Group Containers /Q79WDW8YH9.com.evernote.Evernote/CoreNote/accounts/www.evernote.com/1156250/localNoteStore/LocalNoteStore.sqlite
  18. Evernote is most definitely a cloud service, with the master version of our data stored on the Evernote servers There are benefits; - web access - data backup
  19. I guess it's worth a try You'll be restoring the entire database Make sure you're offline (not connected to the internet) otherwise the sync process will undo he restore
  20. Storing the spreadsheet externally, with a file link in the note is a good solution I use file links in the Evernote Legacy product Unfortunately, file links are not supported in Evernote's v10 product
  21. You might be happier installing the Legacy product at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  22. My legacy task process uses a single task per note I assign the tags at the note level
