Evernote is most definitely a cloud service, with the master version of our data stored on the Evernote servers There are benefits; - web access - data backup

I guess it's worth a try You'll be restoring the entire database Make sure you're offline (not connected to the internet) otherwise the sync process will undo he restore

Storing the spreadsheet externally, with a file link in the note is a good solution I use file links in the Evernote Legacy product Unfortunately, file links are not supported in Evernote's v10 product
