  1. You should know that Evernote v10 before 10.60 had now been deprecated. That means you could find it disabled at some point in the future. As you know Windows 7 isn't officially supported with Evernote anyway. That's all to say that you would be well advised to have a safety plan for your notes in case things stop working suddenly.
  2. You are correct that some ways of doing things have changed between V6 and v10 of the Evernote software. Initially I found that irksome but within a week or two I had made the switch and was no longer irked.
  3. I sympathise with the OP but there's at least one Firefox user that doesn't have this issue (me) and I suspect hundreds more. I think we've only seen this particular issue for the OP and that makes it significantly more challenging to resolve. I'd set Evernote to open in a Firefox private window until the issue is solved.
  4. OK I have a clearer understanding now. I think the solution, if there is one, is in how Outlook shares calendars and what controls it offers over information that can be viewed. It may be too much effort to try and resolve but playing with settings in Google and Outlook are likely to be the way forward.
  5. @Bill Myers I wonder if you create a separate, personal calendar in Outlook? Then you could share that AND your work calendar with Google and thence with Evernote. The personal calendar need not be shared with your work colleagues.
  6. You could use Rocketbook. The words and pictures scan into Evernote. You can print pages on a regular printer or purchase the expensive reusable pages from Rocketbook.
  7. I think this is a trial with some Free users. If the trial is successful then expect that the announcement will be made. Otherwise expect a different outcome with slightly different limits. But as fellow users we are more or less on the dark.
  8. I've never cancelled so cannot confirm this exactly. The cancellation process is done in your account settings. Once the cancellation is completed your renewal information should reflect the Free status from next date. BTW cancellation does not trigger any refunds.
  9. I don't think that there's is a solution for this approach. This is the way Google Calendar shows/shares private events. I think you'll need to continue to work through how you display your personal events. Alternatively, you can wait patiently for the long promised Outlook calendar integration for Evernote. I heard recently that it is still on the plan albeit pending resolution of the performance issues which are more important.
  10. Response times to support requests are 10-14 days. Request refunds via the Billing section at the support website https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  11. This is a trial. We have idea whether it will become permanent or not. You can complain that you signed up to a Free plan with advertised data and note limits. Perhaps they will take you off the trial. Or perhaps they will announce that the limits on Free accounts had been reduced.
  12. I understand the desire for decent, prompt technical support. I'm not sure that OneNote is the way to go off you need support. You'll be back on user to user forums.
  13. Yes. The instructions shown for Windows and Mac don't include a Web section. Perhaps the OP has misunderstood the options.
  14. Just yesterday I copied text and images from a note into Word and all seemed to go as intended. This was definitely different from my experience a few months ago. The note was very simple with only a small amount of text and two small images. I haven't given it a serious test. But it feels that there has been at least some progress since it was first reported two years ago. Until yesterday I saved notes as an HTML file and then opened in Word.
  15. If you have access on a separate computer then I think you might be able to recover the emergency codes. Access the Security section of your account settings.
  16. That's not my experience just now BUT... When I checked the Note History window was slightly shrunk. I dragged the right edge out a little and the old Restore link was revealed. I click that and the note was restored as ever. Evernote Windows 10.65.2 Windows 11 Pro
  17. Evernote, like many other applications, can launch multiple processes. I currently have nine Evernote processes running. Google Drive has seven processes and my Firefox web browser currently has 16. So nothing unusual with that. You'll have to show us the actual symbol that you have. What are you attempting drag and drop into a note? What file size does it have?
  18. If you have lost the emergency codes that were issued when you signed up for 2FA then your only hope is to work with tech support to undo everything although I don't know if that is possible. 2FA by SMS/Text has been withdrawn. This was announced some weeks ago. So your only option if you can regain access to your account is to disable 2FA completely. Otherwise you have to commit to use one of the many apps such as Authy, Google Authenticator etc. Of course, next time be sure to capture and save your emergency codes in case of a problem in the future. First stop will via the tech support team. Select the ACCOUNT option and explain your problem. Be prepared for a wait of up to 14 days for a response. Support seems to be overwhelmed at the moment.
  19. I think that it's very wise. Since it seems that your mobile device isn't syncing any action you take on that device is likely lose data.
  20. The support team is under significant pressure at the moment. Answers take 10-14 days. I presume you didn't keep the emergency codes in a safe and accessible place Also, you don't have access to the 2FA app on your old cell phone. Your only option is to wait for the support response. Without the emergency codes provided when you registered for 2FA you are stuck waiting for support.
  21. I'm not sure I'd consider this as an option. We cannot know what will happen when Legacy is finally withdrawn. I think I'm well known for extolling the virtues of the evernote-backup project on GitHub.
