  1. omg! Yes! I was fixated on the ??? noteVersions.webembed.export??? text -- which, yes, is where the title of the note used to show up, and clicking on that leads to the multi-step process I described in my post. I didn't try the date and time -- because I've never really paid attention to it. However, as you discovered, that is now the way to bring up the old version of the note, just as the process has always worked. Phew. Thank you for investigating more thoroughly than I did. I can go back to being my unbothered self.
  2. I've been a premium user for a decade+, have weathered all of the recent ups and downs, including the price increases, without a lot of trouble, but I just discovered a small, meaningful change in functionality that really bums me out: how Note History works. I don't use Note History a ton, but when I do, it's been an indispensable--and super easy to use—tool. Call up prior versions of the note, bring each one up on screen with one click, search, and the relevant version identified by quick process of elimination. Now it appears you have to guess which version might be relevant, download it, import it, scan through it. And if you haven't landed on the right one, rinse and repeat -- remembering where you were in the long list of prior versions as you go. What. A. Total. Headache. I'll send feedback to Evernote directly, but in the event that anyone from Bending Spoons is paying attention here, or anyone else feels same and wants to also reach out and provide input, am sharing my dismay/venting about this change in this forum. No idea what prompted this feature redesign, but it is decidedly non-user friendly.
  3. Following up on the post I made yesterday -- I heard back from Evernote support and they suggested, as was also mentioned here, to send this request as feedback, as follows:
  4. Just here to concur with your frustration about the lack of auto-correct -- I assumed after the redesign that it would be added back in, and I'm surprised and disappointed that it hasn't been. I check the forum every once in a while to see if there's any indication that it will be restored, and I ping them occasionally to request it. Based on your post, which I saw as I made one of my check-ins today, I resorted to sending a support request asking about their plans for it. I'm a long-time premium client and a devoted Evernote user, but my devotion is waning without auto-correct and with alternative products showing up regularly that include it — alongside most or all of the same functionality offered by Evernote.
  5. Came here to report this same issue in bulleted lists. Running desktop 10.39.7. Mostly it shows up as multiple bullet points replaced with a single check box, as screen shots here have shown, but in a few instances multiple bullet points have been erased and one word of text is left behind. This happens before the note is saved to history so the text is gone.
  6. I went a week without experiencing this issue, updated to 10.23.7 on Mac desktop yesterday, and it's happening again. 😩 It doesn't seem to be related to file size—or to whether or not a note is pinned to shortcuts, as I thought it might be. And it happens to notes I edit only on desktop. I've submitted feedback on the issue a few times, and I noticed this morning that there are several different threads here from others who seem to match my profile: longtime users who've only just started experiencing duplication over the last four weeks or so. Here's hoping engineering has teams on the case. 🙏🏼
  7. Same for me re. size -- not related. It's possible that it's occurring only with notes that I have pinned as shortcuts — I've only just realized that and will have to pay closer attention going forward to see if that's true.
  8. Noticed that multiple other users are reporting having had this same experience in the last few weeks in this thread: Note duplication "We found more than one version..."
  9. Adding my me too to the chorus. Ten year premium user and have never had this happen before two to three weeks ago. Yesterday I realized that EN had created eighteen (!!) copies of one note that I use relatively frequently only on my desktop. Other than that one, in several other instances I've gotten a notification that copies have been created while I'm working on the note. When I check, I find EN has created two or three duplicates of the note. Needless to say, bothersome, although it does appear that the note that I am working in retains all of my edits.
  10. Over the last few weeks on EN for Mac I have experienced several instances of two to four copies of notes being created while I am working on them. These are notes that I edit exclusively on the desktop, never open them on my phone. I am running Big Sur 11.6 and using latest EN update.
