This type of issue has occasionally been reported. The resolution always seems to be to open a support ticket.

At this point, the link to Google Calendar is one direction. So no reminders go out to Google in the same way that it isn't possible to send events to the calendar from Evernote.

For stuff that I consider to be particularly sensitive U encrypt an external document. I use AxCrypt but others use the password protection in Word or similar. For more general security Evernote has industry standard protocols for your data. The most common report of security breaches for accounts bill down to use of the same password across multiple online services. If you want to secure your account then sign out before walking away from your computer.

I suspect that you are correct. Good to have these things noticed and ready for when the API is updated.

This is a good point. If you reinstall or rebuild your data the Import Folder links will be lost and my automatic clean up would lose the files that had not been imported. Just don't edit files in the import folder unless you want a second note imported.

I agree that, in general, it would be good if an empty note that had been started in error did not save but it does. So the only way of removing it is by the standard note deletion process for the app in question. On mobile the options are limited as you have discovered.

You are correct the API hasn't been updated to include tasks, or any of the new features. I think the best guess is that this won't happen until v10 developments are more complete.

If agree that your best route would be to switch to version 10 - either web or desktop app - and see how that works for you. Your additional options will be limited but you'll get a feel for what it will feel like before surrendering your deal on the Plus plan. You can operate Legacy and v10 alongside one another although my experience is that taking the pain and learning how to do things in v10 without going back to Legacy is the best route. In addition to tasks and calendar links, you get the Home dashboard and widgets as well as import folders (originally only in Windows legacy). I use tasks all the time. I have learned to start from the note and as tasks to the note rather than just creating a linear list of tasks. Similarly start with a note and context and link to the calendar event. The various dashboard widgets give additional ways of accessing and viewing notes.

No, there is no Legacy update and there will not be one. Legacy is left as it is and will gradually fade away. Ucheck is probably reporting v10 as an update.

Absolutely. In fact I have a batch file that runs daily and empties the import folders.

@superada77 Are you running Windows 7? The latest version of Evernote doesn't run with Win 7 and generates this error.

There is still the option to switch editing views in the web version. Check which view you are in and switch to the new version of that is what you require.

It is very common and easy to accidentally create a new Evernote account which will then appear to be empty. Check carefully that you are actually viewing your original account.

Actually, if you edit the original imported document in the import folder then it will reimport into Evernote but in a new note.

In my Evernote account I have easily added a profile photo to both of my accounts on addition to my account in the forums too. Tell us more about how you are attending to achieve this.

THere are many threads which discuss the in-app advertising and ways of resolving things. If you need to feedback to Evernote then I'd recommend a support ticket or the in-app Feedback since these forums don't always see so many staff passing by.

No, not for me. Windows v10.44.8 Try a clean uninstall with AppCleaner. Then reinstall with the current version and see if that fixes things.

All we know is that Apple calendar is the third in the list and that Outlook will be next.

Nobody knows for sure. Possibly before the end of the year.
