  1. Try the Legacy app? https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  2. Hi. What versions of Evernote Web / Windows do you have installed? V10 should look the same on both. You can use the same (limited) choice of fonts.
  3. Hi. Use note history to view older versions of a note

  5. Hi. ...because you get access to Support? Your notes should have been synced to Evernote's server so try signing in on a desktop via Evernote.com to check your notes. It's pretty easy to create a new account instead of signing in - which would give you the 'no notes' experience - so check your user ID carefully!
  6. For everything except iOS there's a Legacy version, and/ or a way to go back to the last public release while Evernote continue to update and add features back to the new apps
  7. What Evernote version? If you're using v10, I'd say the developers haven't gotten around to that yet. You can always get the feature back by installing the older version and disabling updates...
  8. You show here as having a Basic account - there's no option to submit notes by email at that level.
  9. Not very - also just a suggestion; someone else might have a better idea...
  10. My legacy (actually the last public version 6.25.1) is still working OK - with updates firmly disabled. You could try backing up your Legacy database and uninstalling everything with extreme prejudice with Revo Uninstaller (which removes leftover files that 'normal' uninstallers don't reach) and then reinstall 6.25.1 to see how that goes...
  11. Hi - can't speak from knowledge.. I haven't updated yet; but using notebook:<your notebook> plus the search term may do it. If not the option would be to select all notes in that notebook and apply the notebook name as a tag, then search for tag:<your notebook> plus the search term.
  12. Yup - I moved across a couple of days ago and had the same experience. Very long initial load, but after that, it's pretty nifty. And I'm on 53K notes! I'm almost tempted to update my 6.25.... almost...
  13. Hi. Since users requested - er, "quite strongly" - that their experience be the same on every device, pretty much everything about the new version is a compromise between what separate processes worked in various different technologies and operating systems. It's not an upgrade, it's a new product. So there's a learning curve. Fortunately, there's also a Legacy version which runs alongside (or instead of) the new one, that will give you back all the old functionality. So you have time to learn some of the tricks of the new service - while Evernote iron out some of the glitches. I haven't updated/ graded yet and don't plan to for some time. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  14. Hi. You may not be aware that this forum is -mostly- supported by other users, not Evernote staff; and if their comment is that "it works", then that's their real-world experience - not a dismissal. We're not Support and if you have a specific issue then it's best reported to them when you may be able to help resolve the problem.
  15. Hi. Have a look at Backupery - if you're running Legacy - it can automatically export any or all of your notebooks to ENEX on a schedule of your choice. Mine runs daily in the evening. It's a paid-for app, but very convenient...
  16. If we're still talking about the installed Mac PC version here - you are aware that you can go back to the 'Legacy' version of Evernote at any time?
  17. Erm.. just ante up the subscription? You're using a free app. They tend to include nagging reminders...
  18. The keyword there is 'safe'. There are several third party sites that advertise 'older' APKs... I killed updating on my original install so I'm still with 8.13 (plus my version of Android is too old to update...)
  19. Evernote seem to use clear cut-off lines - if it says 100,000 notes in the limit, then you won't be able to save any more notes when you get to that point. I've been going for about 12 years on Evernote. At one point I digitised a small reference library with lots of documents, and I've been running an "if in doubt, scan it" policy on all paperwork for several years. I'm still only up to 53,000 or so notes - there's a degree of natural wastage as old or unneeded documentation gets trashed, which slows growth down after an initial spurt. Things do get slower with lots of notes - more to search and bigger data files to sync or save; so I'd think you're going to hit a wall after 75,000 notes where it's better to open a new account for new stuff.
  20. So far 22 users out of 200M seem to be in need of it... Obviously all users aren't going to be aware of the need to vote, but other requests have several hundred clicks and they've not yet been addressed. A matter of priorities and ease of action I think - how to make a wide screen work on everything from a phone to Widecreen 8K TV.
  21. Hmmn. With a whole 2 votes in several years, I don't think this one is going to be a priority...
  22. While I agree it would be nice to have outlining, I'm pretty sure that Evernote have never confirmed whether or when a feature under development might be released.
  23. Unless you're an expert this seems like a long and involved process - and requires installing more apps to help update-proof your Evernote access. I managed to turn off updates for Evernote just using the Play store's standard menus. I'm not yet upgraded to Android 10 anyway, so my changes haven't been tested because Evernote for Android 10 isn't yet available to me. But the process seems to be Go to 'my apps & games' in the play store. There's an 'installed' tab - find and select Evernote. Choose 'more'. Uncheck Auto-update here. This applies only to Evernote. Finish. Of course you can also turn off 'auto-update' for everything - you'll get reminders as and when each app wants to update. No need in either case for third-party apps and 'amended' APK files...
