  1. Hi. Google is always good for that sort of thing... https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/128820-feature-released-in-108-return-note-links-to-a-single-click/
  2. Hi. Please don't post twice on the same issue - I hid your other post in Organization. On your questions - there's no option (that I'm aware of) for different characters without > making a manual list - > using tab or spaces for indenting and > your character of choice for the bullet (like that) Different levels of list have different styles of bullet - that's common practice. You could raise this as a Feature Request to see whether a number of other users would like this option - more votes might convince Evernote to take a closer look...
  3. Hi. I don't recall it ever being a possibility to assign colours or text styles to a title...
  4. You're using 8-year-old software. Version 6 is no longer supported, though in my experience it does sync. If the tips in the link above don't work you might want to upgrade to 6.25 at least...
  5. Hi. It's possible to create a link in Evernote that will open a document file anywhere - in the cloud, on your local hard drive, or on an external USB drive. If you attempt to use that link from another computer, you won't be able to see the file - it's stored on (or with) the first device. Files attached to Evernote notes are available anywhere you can access your account.
  6. No clue. Try asking Epson and Brother about their scanners, if there's no clue in the scanner documentation. I have an old Fujitsu S1500 (precursor to the ix1500) which can scan direct into Evernote - it's an option in the Scan Manager app menu; but I couldn't tell you how that is set up. If there's no other option, then scanning to a folder will work. Subject to some slight delay and some size constraints yes - but I prefer to batch OCR my folder (another reason for using it) when I'm done scanning for the day. Seems to me scans are marginally faster without also OCR-ing the content... but I like the confirmation that all my files are searchable immediately when uploaded to Evernote, and not some uncertain time later. Tips for searching scanned PDFs How Evernote makes text inside images searchable
  7. Hi. Any scanner that will output any kind of document or image files can produce scans that you can attach to notes. I'm old school - I scan documents to a folder on my hard drive, edit and title my scans as necessary, and then move them to a watched Import Folder (Windows Legacy only at this point) to be 'sucked' into Evernote. It's also possible to email into your account. Direct and wi-fi scanning would be an issue to consult Brother on... In both the email and Import Folder options above, the scanned filename becomes the note title. I use Filterize to tag and manage my imported scans into appropriate notebooks.
  8. Nope - I'm seeing this link in my post above, https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/135617-evernote-search-not-finding-handwritten-pdf-notes/ - which is where @DTLow already replied to your duplicate post in the Windows forum..
  9. Hi. Here's a preview: To roll back... Using your existing v6 installation, find your database folder with Tools > Options > General and open it. File > Exit Evernote. Copy your databases folder to the desktop as a failsafe backup Install/ update to v10 From this point you could install the 'Legacy' version of Evernote (6.25.2) which will co-exist with v10 and not update; or you could reinstall your current version (6.25.1) from here - http://cdn1.evernote.com/win6/public/Evernote_6.25.1.9091.exe - don't forget to Tools > Options again if you do, and kill "search for updates". v10 should leave your existing database in place, but if it does not, simply reinstall Evernote 6.25 and copy your backed-up version of the Databases folder over the new installation folder. 10. Hi again - d'you see a 'continue as guest' option on the login page? Try that...
  11. Hi. Try https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - we're a (mainly) user-supported Forum.
  12. Hi. How are your documents stored? As PDF files in one or more Windows folders? You could install the Legacy Windows app and define an Import folder - a 'watched' folder that will move anything saved there into an assigned Evernote notebook. Move your R2F files into the Import folder and then to Evernote - you could then split your files into additional notebooks if you wish. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote Create import folders in Evernote for Windows
  13. Hi. Apple and Evernote are not the same organisation, and sometimes upgrades get stuck or lost between them. For general payment issues see - NB for iTunes payments please initially contact them direct.
  14. Hi. This is a (mainly) user-supported forum. You could check to see whether there's an outage here - https://twitter.com/EvernoteStatus - or raise it with Evernote here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps
  15. Updates are returning features and bug fixes - in a new version that's generally a good thing. Legacy has all the old features (including an option to avoid being updated) - though it's no longer being updated anyway. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
  16. Very odd. You can check for status interruptions here - https://status.evernote.com/ - and if that's not the explanation, raise a support ticket: https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  17. Hi. Try https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote - you should be downloading an EXE file: https://cdn1.evernote.com/win6/public/Evernote_6.25.2.9198.exe
  18. Answered in the Windows thread here - (Please don't post more than once on the same issue...)
  19. A little unkind since Evernote do have 200M+ active users who would be even more unhappy than they are at present should a small change in the date process corrupt any existing information. Plus they have an (I would imagine) fairly crowded development schedule, existing bugs to address, and a 'short' list of a couple of thousand new and returning features to implement. They'll get to it. Meantime I use Legacy - which uses system dates - and Phrase Express to support key combinations that add dates and times in various formats as I need them. My note titles forinstance routinely start with a date - 20210414 - to sort by title into chronological order.
  20. Hi. I've seen another post about sync issues with postachio - I suggest you check with their support. I haven't noticed any problems yet....
  21. Hi. How are you sharing? (Or more importantly how exactly is your share-ee attempting to view this note?) And how big is the image? - It might tale a while to load into a browser and/ or initially to sync with another Evernote account. You could try editing the content slightly to re-sync the note... https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  22. You're welcome! This is not a "new" way - this has always been a (mainly) user-supported forum, though developers and other staff do read entries regularly to get feedback and see how things are going with new releases. As a subscriber you have direct access to chat (subject to demand and timezones) and email support via the link I posted above. Reporting an issue gets you an immediate ticket number which establishes your place in the queue. Responses from a human take a little longer... usually a few days.
  23. Hi. With a Business account it would be. https://evernote.com/business
