  1. Glad you found it - but if that turns out to be 6.25.1 you will get update alerts. 6.25.2 and 6.25.3 were fixes to avoid any conflicts with the new version.
  2. Hi. A web search will give you links back to previous versions - there have been some recent links in the Forums here. If you're considering going back to Legacy, be aware that it's no longer supported, and while Evernote (apparently) have no short-term plans to close access down, developments in operating systems and browsers are already compromising some features on Macs.
  3. Hi. My ESP seems to be broken, so what's your device / OS / Evernote version and exactly how are you adding these PDFs - import folder / drag-n-drop / attachment?? Are you a subscriber and if not have you recently exceeded your upload limit or are these large PDFs and in excess of your note size limit??
  4. Not yet - 10.55.2 is still "the latest version" according to it. I'll wait until I catch up.
  5. Hi. If you're a subscriber, send Support the URLs of some sites where Clipper works in Chrome, but not Safari. All browsers are constantly being updated with new code, and this might be a case where Evernote didn't get the memo yet...
  6. I've found older versions of software with web searches before now*, and I currently have Legacy and 10.55.2 co-existing on my Windows 11 desktop - if you're getting some kind of conflict I'd suggest finding the Legacy Databases folder and copying that somewhere safe, then uninstalling everything, restarting, and reinstalling everything. There would appear to be some errors in one or both current installations. Support, I assume, is going to tell you that you should update and will not otherwise support Legacy issues. *NB I also found the Legacy installer on my system at one stage - so do a local search for Evernote.exe files just in case!
  7. You don't bother to specify what device, OS or Evernote version you are using, and I'm sure you are aware that there's a browser version and an installed version you could use. If you're a subscriber you could contact Support to get them to maybe help you - I use a Chrome based browser and the installed version and on a modern computer they work fine. However - your choice; if you want to see whether things are better somewheres else, I hope it works for you. 'Bye.
  8. Actually no, every other program does not go to the main window. I have several in my system tray that have a range of options accessed by right and left clicks. With Evernote a right-click lets you open Evernote's main window - or in Windows you could easily build your own shortcut to launch directly. https://www.howtogeek.com/436615/how-to-create-desktop-shortcuts-on-windows-10-the-easy-way/
  9. I zapped the post just before @PinkElephant's comment for being in breach of the Forum Code of Conduct.
  10. Hmmn. OK - it will be helpful if you can confirm your device, OS and Evernote version please - and if notes you create on your laptop are not syncing to another device, the problem may be with the laptop or the device. If you're not a subscriber you need to be careful of the number of devices you're using, but see the items below which may help. If you are a subscriber I'd suggest you contact Support (which is not us...) Understanding the device limit Tips for troubleshooting syncing issues
  11. One thing I dislike the mobile camera feature for is its lack of a serious distortion fix. I tend to take images of objects and documents that I can't scan, but getting the best lighting on the page often means I'll be at a serious angle to the document which will be visibly narrower at one end than the other. I use Adobe Scan or (MS)Office lens which can correct for perspective and scan to PDF files for OCR. - My point being that Evernote can't cater for every specialist use; you need to find a way to deal with your task and make best use of Evernote. Personally I'd take pictures with a good camera/ editing app like Lightroom and share them to Evernote, and use a speech to text app to capture relevant thoughts. But you know what needs to be done and what services you have available - best of luck finding a resolution!
  12. Hi. Guessing that you logged in with incorrect information and inadvertently created a new empty account. Try logging out and back in again very carefully. If you're still stuck, use the 'forgot password' link at Evernote.com.
  13. Hi. You're probably not a Teams (business) user, so can we start with your account type plus device, OS and Evernote version please?
  14. I prefer old-fashioned writing on paper - with pages being photographed by my phone after the event. Battery life is better and I never suffer from poor network connections. Something similar to Moleskine (but a lot cheaper) is https://www.scribzee.com
  15. Hi. The Forums are (mostly) user-supported so you might have to get hold of Support to view your notes, but I don't see why you're locked into a paid subscription unless you managed to exceed the device limit for free accounts - and the block lasts for 30 days maximum, not your lifetime. So you could Subscribe for at least 1 month (if you have access to that option) to get back immediately wait it out contact Support https://twitter.com/evernotehelps.
  16. @Mike P Sorry - my mind was on YouTube links, not ordinary URLs! 🫢
  17. In increasing order of difficulty I'd suggest restarting the app / restarting the PC / uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If you have local firewalls or anti-virus, make sure the Evernote app is allowed access to the network.
  18. ...and just for the record, Evernote's audio controls aren't very good, and you can't really use the phone while it is recording without derailing the whole process. I tend to use another Android app to record so I can still take notes and look up things in my database. It will save to MP3 or something, which file can be attached to your note for future use. And it will play anywhere!
  19. Hi. There have been reports of people seeing strange access attempts in their accounts, but the best you can do is change your password and add 2-factor authorisation. Evernote have some suggestions here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004395487
  20. It's not common and it's easily fixed. Have you seen the posts in this thread?
  21. ...What he said - plus we now have a new team of energetic people who actually use the app, have a mission to make solutions for mobile devices, and are excited about their new purchase. I got the impression that the 'old' Evernote team had gone through some internal grief and were somewhat stuck in a rut, going through the motions before the buyout. IMHO Evernote now has more credibility, talent and energy going for it than anyone else in the market and are competitively priced compared with the rest. I also have subscriptions to Adobe, Amazon Filterize and Office 365 which bracket the same numbers, and I already said somewhere that even Professional subscriptions in the UK amount to a single cup of coffee (or a glass of something stronger) per week. YMMV depending on tax and exchange rates. Up to every subscriber to decide - is it worth it to you or not? IMHO there are lots of things to look forward to - including a Sync upgrade which (I think) should be completed next month. If you disagree, then we already covered the basics of downgrading your account for reference purposes and moving on.
  22. Not hard at all apparently - have you met the Home page? https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056265514
