On a Mac it always was in hidden folders. This means you need to unhide the hidden folders first (Google tells how) before spotlight can locate it for you. The other option is to use the GitHub project Evernote Backup. https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup It will in a full backup using the API to the cloud server. This does not solve your problem with your local notebooks. When you install v10, the local notebooks will in most cases be located and transferred to the server. This may not be what you want (I think there is no issue in it), but could be a way to get their content exported somehow.

We can reduce this post to the words: I’m gone.

Yes, this is a recent bug. I think it was solved with 10.70.2, but I had no time yet to check myself. With tags, it depends if you want to find a exact date, or which Intervall. The editing of the field means it would never be overwritten again when once edited ? That’s the only way I think would be sustainable (else the edits would be overwritten again fast). Or means editing having it just once to keep attention on that note, but after that is starts updating again ?

Usually your notes should still be there. To use the account meaningful beyond 50 notes, you need a subscription. And to import any significant amount of notes, you need one as well. Importing creates new notes, and they run against the upload limit. Which is 60MB per 30 days on Free, and hardly enough for any significant import.

Ability to change Update Date for notes
PinkElephant replied to yankru's question in Evernote for Windows Requests (Versions 10.0 and above)
Use tags to set markers to notes. It’s the provided feature for this, not messing with system controlled fields. -
7.13 is not even the legacy Mac version, this would be 7.14. You can access, edit and export your existing notes. You can’t move them, and you can’t create new ones. This for everything synced with the server. For the local notes you have to see for yourself. There was ample time and warnings that legacy will stop working. This is not bad will, but has technical reasons. You haven’t updated for at least 4 years now, and can’t expect they keep old interfaces to the cloud server open forever. So you need to take a decision now. If you need time, you can always buy a month of subscription to get the ability to use the account while you evaluate your options.

Evernote Owner Bending Spoons Buys Meetup.com

The alternative to acquisitions is in many cases decline and bankruptcy. True for companies that in 15 years burn investors money, and fail to became profitable (anybody said Evernote now …). Been taken over is probably the better outcome. -

You really put an effort in documenting stuff, where I say who cares. It’s a 1st year offer only. I easily spend more on a nice dinner, than the total rebate we discuss here „ad exzessum“.

Update the icon... PLEASE
PinkElephant replied to Rhels's question in Evernote for Mac Requests (Versions 10.0 and above)
They know of the secret plan to dominate the world. Icons will be round again in 2 years - it's not worth changing it now. -

Version 10.70.2 - "Latest" 🤥
PinkElephant replied to janndk's topic in Evernote General Discussions
I have never seen 10.69.5. The download gave 10.68 until recently. The automatic update installed 10.70.2. It seems they provided 3 versions more or less simultaneously. To me this looks as if release management is a bit shaky at the moment. -
Don’t double post, please.

It’s a first year rebate, like the one offered by many other companies. If it’s good marketing is one question. But at least it is a limited offer. The permanent rebates granted by the old management to some users were devastating. This practice has been stopped.

EN is already GDRP compliant. If you intend to use it professionally / commercially, you should get a Data Processing Agreement. You can contact support to have it issued. I did …
