  1. Good. Checking is always nice, that’s why we have such a nice checklist tool in v10. Checked, checkmarked, strikeout, bam, take that, ugly checkbox ! But I deviate, this is about tabs and legacy and life without it. Now explain how the 90% of EN legacy users who were on Windows ever made it ?! No tabs on Windows, never ever. OK, maybe it’s insane to use a PC when you could have a Mac, and that explains it. But still … ?
  2. You may only use 1 notebook, but you have more than 1. Probably you just need to erase them.
  3. Cost of adapting everything to @Musimon ‚s liking - subscription income * 5 years = … ?! Anybody can do the math himself. That’s why this proposition of „Do as I want, or I leave“ can only be answered with „Good bye, and good luck for you“
  4. Checked your spam folder ? There usually is an answer, within a few minutes. It’s automatic, says they will come back to you, but it states the ticket number as well. No ticket number, likely no ticket created.
  5. No „team“ here, just other users. Is there anything on your computer or network that may block content: Ad Blockers, Firewall, Anti-Something ? Did you try through the EN website in a browser ? Another option is to subscribe through one of the stores: AppStore, PlayStore, MS-Store etc.
  6. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new EN only describes how to import content, but not for specific competitors apps. The export from the other app needs to be done, using the options these apps offer. The import is then described here, quite rudimentary: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314308
  7. The contact form has the option for technical reports - for subscribers. I have used it myself only a few days ago.
  8. The first post contains contradictions, and was never answered. But „the same“ happened to you …. If you want help, start with some useful information, like platform and EN version, plus your own description. A screenshot might be helpful.
  9. There is no connection between how an account is paid, and from where it is installed and updated. It is perfectly possible to pay by iTunes, and install from the EN website. I do …
  10. Oh, the state of Maine … nice place, a lot of trees and fish, less people. Let me ask a question, just out of curiosity: The AppStore sends me a reminder of upcoming subscriptions 4 weeks in advance. How much lead do you get in the State of Maine from Apple or Google ? And another question: If you didn’t want to continue your subscription, why didn’t you simply cancel your subscription. Given a day up or down, there was ample time to do so.
  11. Penultimate is withdrawn from the AppStore. Existing installs will work as they are, as long as it lasts. No new releases, no features. If you want EN sync, try Noteshelf. Else any other handwriting app. Personally I use Goodnotes.
  12. Why didn’t they spare this poor fellow the torture to fight valiantly for years against being badgered and tempted to upgrade ? They really should have pulled the plug way earlier on the Free plan !
  13. No idea ... but I am always puzzled why a company should grant a refund when the responsibility for not learning about a price hike in time is clearly with the user. Not my understanding of how contracts are working, from user 2 user.
  14. When the note is not selected (just showing, what‘s still selected is the middle panel, but it won‘t scroll either), no scroll. When it is selected (cursor somewhere), it scrolls. You can even jump to the end or to the top by holding down the cmd-key when typing down- or up-arrow. And true, the scroll bar let‘s you move through the note without typing, or swiping.
  15. Create as many TOC notes as you wish. One in the notebook, one in another notebook, another to be shared, … But as said, from the moment of creation each TOC note is on its own. Whatever it can draw from the link to the contained notes themselves (like a change in the title of that note) will reflect in all copies. But if you for example remove a note‘s link from the TOC, it will only be removed in this TOC note, not in all the others. In every linked noted you will see one entry per TOC (or other link) in the backlinks section. So in the example above, there will be 3 backlinks, all leading to one of the TOC notes.
  16. @Jacobxxxx123 It‘s plain a stupid, easy to falsify comment. Even any Free user can export his data without any problem from the app - he doesn‘t need to pay a dime for this, no matter whether he is inside or outside of the new Free plans limits. There is not even a payment method required to be authorized for this.
  17. We never got a confirmation anything was under development. It was more this general phrase of „the devs will be looking into it“ we receive from support when they can’t tell, but won’t say NO either. We can’t know today, but I have not ever seen it listed as on the backlog now or for the future.
  18. From my understanding it was easier to handle when everything happened on the server. There you can probably lock a data set to avoid conflicting edits. The API should handle this together with the content management (remember, EN notes are basically websites). The problems on legacy sync occurred when a local copy was changed, while another change took place, and then both synced to the cloud master copy. Since the local edits couldn‘t mutually lock the data set, a conflict resulted. And data set was the whole note. With RTE the sync is happening in small pieces of data and very fast, so the conflict situation is in general avoided. Probably it builds shadow copies as well, from which a consistent result is reconstructed. You can still provoke it by taking a client offline, change something there and make a different change elsewhere. Like changing a word in a paragraph on the offline client, but erasing the whole paragraph online. When the offline change syncs, there can still be a conflict.
  19. Works for me. iPad Air 5, 17.2.1, EN 10.63.3. Keyboard Logitech K380 via BT. The usual advise applies: Restart the iPad. Force restart the iPad. Log out of the app, quit the app, open, log back in. The same, with uninstall, restart device. The same, with uninstall and forced restart.
  20. Good it works. Leave the app running in the background for a while. It takes some time to download everything. Until this is done, it will get attachments from the cloud server. That’s probably the reason why pictures (= large files) currently load with a delay. This will fix itself once the content is available locally.
  21. It seems the EN team members who took care of new templates left the company with everybody else. You need to use one of the above linked options, and then import it into your personal templates.
  22. I love posts that are not even understandable without a Google search. Applicable learning ? Zero, up to here. Edit: Albert, you beat me by 5 seconds. Happy new year !
  23. EN is a general note taking app, not a devs tool. The general market share of Linux in the PC market is in the 1.x % range, and seems to remain there.
  24. Maybe it has to do with the hidden password field ? There is an intentional delay between hitting Enter on the user and making the password field show. It is a countermeasure against brute forcing and „spraying“, another way of guessing a password by trying. The 2FA code is standard and can be produced with any 2FA app generating OTP codes. Make sure the device where they are generated has the exact time. The code depends on it.
