  1. That’s the logical action. Good luck.
  2. EN increases the price, and you move out and delete your notes. That‘s a causality that anybody can understand. But isn’t it taking your own importance a level too far to believe this must be a mistake ? Maybe it’s just a consequence from you using the app for too little use to make the subscription finance itself. EN has done nothing with regard to your value perception.
  3. And ? You run an app inside of a browser engine. It’s a different concept than a natively coded app. We know since 3 years that this creates a different operational behavior. Come back if there is news to tell.
  4. Nobody imports notes from old into new EN. That’s the completely wrong way of describing it. There is a common database. When opened from legacy, a note is interpreted by the old client, when from a new client, it’s interpreted in a different way. Placing images has been a challenge, in legacy and in v10. Using a table has always been the best way to get a stable picture layout.
  5. The 2 options are to wait for 30 days, or to subscribe to Personal (can be for a month as well).
  6. You can’t mix checklists and numbered lists. Both are formatting in their own right.
  7. We know it all. Checkboxes for lists are no longer supported. There is a checklist tool with much improved features. And imagine: You can do most from your list with checklist formatting as well. Plus some more, not available with checkboxes (take that strikeout …). Which leads to the question: Why didn’t you try before posting what you BELIEVE you might need ?
  8. Because it works this way. There are other apps that behave similar (Zoom for example). They pretty much improved the process - you can now choose to update yourself, or have it done when the app is launched the next time. But in fact - updating it does.
  9. It’s not random at all. There were warnings all over the old clients that they are outdated. If such messages are ignored, you waste the time given for an orderly transition.
  10. If you are on Free, there is a new limit of 50 notes in 1 notebook imposed. Not per month, it’s for lifetime. Only subscribing will lift it. Those with existing notes can still access and even edit them. But you can’t move them, and you can’t create new notes while above a count of 50.
  11. YOU are NOT „the community“. THE COMMUNITY is quite happy with v10. You just need to check the comments to this thread. And what we don’t want is a crappy legacy clone just to keep some late comers happy that missed the opportunities to switch over in the last 3 years. EN v10 is an app in it‘s own right, doing things in its own (and generally consistent) way. Don‘t like it ? Nobody is forcing you …
  12. Since your posts falls short in details, we can't tell. What we can tell is that end of 2023 (and maybe effective a bit later) EN has resetted weak passwords that were not beefed up by 2FA. So probably you need to create a new, better password for your account (and for enhanced security enable 2FA as well, if possible).
  13. You can surely hope for a lottery win. If I need something to work, I prefer to use a tool that is up to the job - now. EN tables have very useful aspects, now, in this moment. Basic math is not among them.
  14. Sure we can highlight cells: For other wishes you can contact support, or send feedback. Be aware that up to now EN has resisted to turn the clients into another crappy bloatware disaster. So I personally hope they keep the editor lean and tidy, and avoid the sort of formatting options that in the end are only a mild form of gamification. If I need layout control, I use other apps, and attach the file to a note.
  15. THIS in fact would be a very nice application for an AI - provided you have no issue to have an AI bot read and learn from all of your notes. Currently AI will only get at the notes you actively decide to send to it.
  16. Actually while this discussion is ongoing, EN is actively phasing out the grandfathered subscriptions that has been in that price range. The likelihood of a new "flexible" plan is practically zero.
  17. 2 options: Wait 30 days until it resets, or subscribe to Personal - can be for a month.
  18. Up to now, EN does not support add-ons. If you are a fan of it, move to Obsidian.
  19. You need to open a ticket first, using the website. Then support will contact you, by mail, with a header you must not change. This header is your entry key into the support system. From here on communication is by email. Once the ticket is closed, the key looses it's function. So it is for sure you NEVER were able to ONLY use email to get through to support.
  20. Up to now they never charged for the apps the devices bring along. You may need an iCloud subscription to make professional use of it.
  21. Standard - select first, then ctrl/click for more, shift-click on a range for a group. Shouldn’t be hard …
  22. It’s quite easy to search only one notebook. Select a notebook from the sidebar, then search. Or pick the notebook from the filters. Or enter it into the search field. Or save a search … The web clip format is a clever way to convert the dynamic CSS/CMS modern websites into a static HTML page. Be happy it exists. 6.25 is the end of the line for Windows, before v10. It is still 32bit software, completely outdated.
