  1. Remove everything related to EN using the app AppCleaner. Restart the Mac. Reinstall from the EN website. You will be asked ONE time if you want to open it, since it’s from the web. Confirm, open, log in. If you are asked every time on opening after this, MacOS is broken and needs to be repaired or reinstalled.
  2. If they are not available on the web client, and not available in note history either, then they were not saved to the note. May be bad, but the web client is the view at the master copy on the cloud server. There is no digging behind it.
  3. I doubt that crazy stuff like that will be supported - ever. It would run against the philosophy to have a desktop/web and a mobile platform, with as little deviations as possible. And honestly - there is one gorilla in the tablet market, which is called iPad, and then nothing for a long, long time.
  4. No idea what DeX mode means … In general EN supports the general functionality of the OS. Device or brand specific features will not be supported. There is for example no Split View support on iPads.
  5. The idea is OK. But why start yet another thread ? There is a long existing one about it. You can search it, and add your vote.
  6. Yes, quite a multilingual crowd here. I wouldn’t know where to switch to „English“ at all, except maybe setting my whole OS to another language. I think we just take other languages as part of our hyggelig community.
  7. Oh, you mean a popup on start like „Use with caution. This release may not be the latest version“ ? I am pretty sure a lot of software you are using does staged updates. It’s pretty much industry standard, to balance server load for example. You probably just didn’t notice.
  8. Choose „Web-Clips“ from the filters menu „contains“ section to see only notes containing a web clip. If you set a temporary tag on notes reviewed, you can exclude those done from the list. -tag:DoneTagName In general you should check the clip result. First clipping goes through several steps, one of which can fail. Second sometimes the web clipper grabs something you don’t want, like a paywall overlay instead of the page beneath. You can set it to show the resulting note in web clipper settings. Don’t clip a huge volume of sites without checking. It makes it hard to repeat if a clip failed.

  11. Leave everything as it is (I think you were advised to do so). Go to the download page on the website, download the installer. Install - you get the latest whatsoever release that is available. If you installed trough one of the stores, you first need to uninstall that version, and make a fresh install from the website. You can't install the website download over a Store installation.

  13. It’s as always a staged rollout - not every user gets it at the same time. Usually the manual download delivers the latest release. No need to uninstall first - just install it over the existing one.
  14. There is 10.72 on the ramp. The release notes say the issue was solved with this release (at least for the Mac).
  15. Oh, if you put a warning sign and some taillamps on it, it can still take you ahead. Unfortunately, outdated software is not fixed by adding a few bells and whistles:
  16. Check on the web client first that the images are available there. If they are available there, it may be an issue of the download. If they are missing on the web as well, you can check in note history if you can recover them from history.
  17. Just as a reminder: EN is not HIPAA compliant. Storing general medical data or personal information is ok, but storing patients data is not.
  18. It‘s correct, I could reproduce the problem. I found no real systematic answer why it switches to a specific desktop. But it usually does - which doesn’t allow screenshots on all other desktops. Without the posting I would not have realized it. I use Shottr for screenshots - so the EN helper screenshots are not my to-go tool to snap something.
  19. Legacy is by no means sustainable any longer. The older legacy clients are already not syncing any more. I expect the newer to follow soon. You can still publicly share individual notes. Looking at how much information a single note can hold, it’s maybe a question of changing the way you organize your content.

  21. @dewi a Free user coming to the forum to explain us the „business model“. Do you mean your own business model, freeloading for 15 years on the back of your fellow users paying for the cost ? Or the business model with too many non performing accounts on the back of too little paying users ? I mean the one that brought EN to its knees. OK, just FYI: EN has a new business model: Try on Free, then subscribe or leave.
  22. No idea about the email process. Moving a note from one personal account to a Teams account directly will not work - this are separate accounts. You could try to share the note, or make an ENEX export on Personal, and import the ENEX into Teams.
  23. Thanks for posting, and farewell. Spreading once consolidated information over several platforms may be a solution for you. It would remove a key value factor provided by EN for me.
  24. Nobody here to fix and resend anything. This place is user 2 user. Contact support. If you mean the email about the design change: The one I received opened just fine. It may be there is a local problem with your version, for example through an ad blocker.
