  1. I doubt this ever was possible on iOS (iPhone, iPad). You probably mean the desktop (Mac, PC) version. The screenshot tool of the menu bar helper makes a screenshot and saves it directly as a new note. You can annotate this note. I doubt there are plans to change this feature. Requests can be send here: feedback@evernote.com Hint: Tell them why you want the change by positively describing your use case. Your threat of canceling your subscription would make me send your input right to the round folder (as a fellow user I don’t take such decisions, but I find this stomping-my-feet-for-candy behavior utterly childish). BTW Your legacy install failed on the 23rd of march when the server access was cut. This was announced before and came as no surprise any more, 3 years after the clients were deprecated.
  2. You practically downloaded a new client. In the past the AppStore version has given all sorts of hiccups - we don’t promote it’s use. Probably the same would have happened with a fresh download of the direct install as well.
  3. Yes, they changed this. If you got an email as confirmation (without a ticket number) the ticket should be on it’s way. It will take probably a while until anything happens.
  4. To ask for changes of the GUI, send your request here: feedback@evernote.com Your chances of seeing them happen are way more faint than the divider line thickness.
  5. To my observation shift-Enter is not recognized since quite a while. And yes, I regard this as a bug as well.
  6. Just a few remarks, from a fellow user who is running his own little business: There is no necessity to actually use (=interact) with EN to be in a contractual relation. You had your data stored on their servers, they were maintained and safeguarded. The service was available at any moment for you. You received what you had booked - no matter if you actually thought about logging in to add information. If you don't need it any more, you can cancel your subscription at any time. And as with all subscriptions, it will then end at the final day of your subscription period. If you choose yearly to safe money compared to monthly, then it's 1 year. Actually you can cancel whenever in this year, and it will only run for the rest of the subscription. B2B services as Teams are usually not eligible for the same level of protection as consumer contracts. The assumption (wrong or right) is that anybody running a business knows what he is doing, and which contracts he is using for his business. You can (depending on the place of your business) refer to B2B business law and practices, but consumer law will in most jurisdictions not apply. E-Mails informing about price changes have been send in due course - I can tell because I received one of them as well. If you didn't receive it, check for what may have prevented it. Spam filters, not sufficient storage space, an email address registered for an employee no longer active are just a few possibilities. You will likely have a hard time to prove that the email with the price information was never received by your email server. That's a wrap up of what is the legal side. When interacting with support, make a word count. If the word "Please" is high up in the ranking, they may consider helping you. Because that is what you are asking for.
  7. It is working for me on an i7 MBP, a M1 mini and a M2 MBP. Not all the game, but a pretty good test environment to say: A problem is not related to the processor used for your Mac.
  8. None of you guys can have the same issue - 2 years and more than 50 releases later. Use the words that have been given to you by caring humans to describe what your problem may be. The we will use the words given to us by other caring humans to point at possibilities to solve the problem. If you don't I can only point you to what has already been said in this thread.
  9. Choose the notebook. Select export - export to HTML. All attachments will be in a folder, one level below the exported folder.
  10. No, don't think so. To export all scanned pictures, select the notes (max. 100 at a time, or all when all in a notebook for contacts) and export to HTML. You geht all picture files in a folder that is attached to the export folder. Then proceed from there - no idea if there is an app that allows to create contacts from the pictures.
  11. Good you found it and are enthusiastic about it. Actually this was added last week or so. What is matching it is the possibility to add an in-note table of content through the + - menu, or a slash-command. However it needs some more polish - for example if you collapsed sections, you need to expand each one manually. There is no section management to expand all at once. But that´s probably in the making already.
  12. @carla cohen Is your Mac under corporate management (MDM system) ? This may prevent a lot of things, by enforcing corporate IP security even when on any other network. Many companies employ a whitelisting policy these days - everything that is not explicitly allowed is forbidden. Often all cloud services not listed by the company will be blocked, for example. In this case only your IT help desk can help you solve it.
  13. @hubiking87 Subscribing does not alter the speed of anything EN does. For me v10 is working fast on all devices (Mac/iOS), except a 10 year old iPad Air 2, where it shows latency. Where it is slower than legacy is with multiple note selections. But that's likely not your issue while on Free ...
  14. Maybe your database is corrupted. Any other signs of it: Laggyness, high CPU, delay on opening ?! You could as well quit the app, and restart the PC.
  15. On mobile there is no web clipper. It uses the sharing process of the OS. This means it needs to process the data handed over by the OS in the app. Pocket is no comparison: It saves only a fraction of what is saved by EN. If this is enough for you (no pictures, no links, just plain text), use it. If you want fast, consistent clipping results use the web clipper on desktop.
  16. One by one - they are not stored in a readable format like cardDAV. You could try if they will pick it up when you load a picture of a card into a service like CamCard .
  17. Usually I don’t see my email address on my count as anything problematic. It just tells me which account is open. If you have a reason to hide it, use a private mail address for the account, that is linked to your real life email. Apple offers it with any iCloud+ subscription, there are other services as well. I use a different email address for each account I open.
  18. Something is wrong with your install. I would nuke both, restart the Mac and make a fresh install of v10 only. After that, log in and let the client run in the background for a while. It needs time to download all notes again.
  19. IMHO you are just not used to getting ANY new features in years. This was not perfection, it was oblivion. Now after receiving features users have requested for more than a decade, you are update distressed, it seems. As a fellow user used to say: Don’t panic ….
  20. About the extension: First I don’t encounter this, using EN web clipper. Second an app doesn’t need to provide solutions for any weirdness that may exist. Go to the note, click the attachment, save as (where you can already modify the extension), save it. Then import the corrected file again. The folder it opens for the import will be the same one you had saved to before, which makes the operation quite straightforward.
  21. If I want to clip to the clipboard, there is always the MacOS clipper with its own set of shortcuts. Personally I prefer Shottr over both. It just makes the better clips, and has excellent annotation features.
  22. The 2 installs have nothing in common. Get AppCleaner and make sure you uninstall the correct EN client. Even if you uninstall both, you can always reinstall the v10 client.
