  1. Is there a way to do this easily on the new version? I need to save all of a notebooks attached PDF's to folders. Is there a better way than doing this one by one?
  2. Just notice other PC had Windows update due. We'll see if it fixes things. Thanks.
  3. Now that there's no sync button, how long should I expect it to take for notes to appear? I manually imported pdf's onto my client at home. Its been 45 minute or so and they are not appearing on my client at the office. I liked having a Sync now. Both on latest version of EN. Is there a bug or are they never going to appear and I now need to worry about scanned and imported documents in one client not appearing into all of them? I can add pictures if needed...
  4. Ok, the new system is getting manageable and even showing some advantages after being forced to work with it. One thing that really impedes and slows work flow is importing scanned documents from Scansnap (and I would assume other scanners but have no experience) The old software would import it to the folder you had open in evernote if evernote was open and in a folder. It kills a lot of administrative time than having to manage your documents into different notebooks from the import folder. That feature would be wonderful. Thanks.
  5. Because his post interested me and helped me and I found his beratement for providing it rude and unneccessary. As do I find the beratement I received rude and unnecessary. And as this is a forum that answers people's problems and is here forever, I didn't notice it was from three weeks ago. Because I only come when I have a problem. Not to live here and berate people.
  6. Joplin looked really promising at first, especially in how easy exporting and importing was. It doesn't search your PDF's that are attached though, that's a deal breaker for me. Is there a way to make that work with Joplin (I OCR all my documents as I scan them)? Are there any other good replacement candidates?
  7. How about he stay and keep providing good alternatives as the devs have decided to nuke their product.
  8. It works for me. Also, thankfully its still syncing. Thank you all, I shall retreat back into the shadows. On a final note, to the Devs. People who work with this thing need instant access to everything, no dropdown menus, no quick tabs, no importing to the current notebook, no smooth scrolling through notebooks, everything downloading on the fly that hasn't downloaded before, tedious and impractical if you're using it for work. Why ruin a good thing for no upside?
  9. I too am a paying frustrated customer. Just set up my home office and this is ridiculous. Everything is slower and three more steps with the new version. How can you delist the only workable version of your product? Every old version I have won't sync with their servers... So, the legacy version still will sync if I can find it? I have it buried in my office files somewhere... Seriously, if you make me update to this version on my whole office, I would need a new document managing system. It's that bad. Bad enough for me to come here obviously, and I gave it a week. In my office, I only gave it about an hour. It is completely unworkable for real work. Edit: Found it on one of my office computer. It will still sync? Trying now...
