I don't think the issue is with my installation but rather the inability of any of these "uninstalling" tools to be able to determine which components belong to which application. This is why I was looking for an official Evernote article listing the files related only to "Evernote Legacy" so that I could manually uninstall it without having to uninstall both and reinstall Evernote v10.

I've run both "Evernote Legacy" and "Evernote" through AppCleaner, and here are the results. 21 files in common?! It is hard to tell which files belong to which version ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can't believe this, but this process doesn't seem to be documented anywhere. How do I fully remove Evernote Legacy from the Mac without affecting the current Evernote installation? I've seen many posts recommending software packages like AppDelete for this task, but the issue with app-deletion software is that it selects files for deletion that belong to (or are also used by) the current version of Evernote.

I just installed version 10.83.4 with claims to "Fixed a performance issue when typing in large notes" https://evernote.com/release-notes Although it does reduce the latency on large notes with many bulleted items, it doesn't completely eliminate it. I would say it is "adequate" for now, but I would like to see a "better" fix implemented in a future version.

I'm having the same issues with my notes that contain a large number of bulleted items 🙁

Has anyone noticed a lag in typing inside a note with many bulleted items? I have a note with a few hundred bulleted items, and typing is very laggy in that note (and only in that note). This laggy/slow typing experience is present even if I collapse the whole bulleted list.

Sadly, indeed! I still use AppleScript with the Legacy Evernote version to do things I simply can't do with the latest version. Surely there is a way to perform some automation with the Electron version of Evernote. Right? 😬
