Thank you for the very accurate and useful reply, I am very appreciative of the help. I know this will annoy a lot of people, but as an it professional who has used this for over 16 years the version that replaced V 6 ha been a huge disappointment. It is appreciated when something simple I took for granted for 13 years is still doable. I have to say that when this subscription runs out I will revert to 6 (I saved the old databases) and port whatever I create since I was forced to update to whatever the eventual Evernote replacement is. I am sure it works well for many people, I am just not one fo them. Ken

Thank you for the feedback. I am running Windows 11 on my laptop so that explains the issue there. I am running Wibdows 10 on my desktop and the option is missing there also. I am running the newest version of evernote as I was forced to give up the old version which worked very well for me for 15 years. Perhaps you can help me get the new version to work a little better?

When speaking about features that disappeared this one is disappointing. In the past I could right-click on the Evernote icon and get the option to screengrab right into a note, that appears to be gone. Am I missing something? I would prefer not replying with noting that I could use another program to screengrab, then create a note and paste it in to the note, I am aware of that. I also note that the new and improved version often helpfully just shows a link as opposed to the actual picture which I find much less friendly, to be polite. Thanks, Ken
