  1. Sigh - so we can close yet another duplicate thread about this issue. Thanks for posting…
  2. @Rileydog6 I just imagine an update mail from EN every month about "look here, and we still intend to do nothing about it". Not good for your blood pressure ! But read this and calm down: https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/80084-control-which-image-shown-in-a-notes-thumbnailsnippet-view/?do=findComment&comment=732342
  3. There are different options to what can go wrong: Local/app, local/computer, local/network and global/network. Some examples: L/A: Outdated cached content, website data for Evernote.com or it`s derivates, remains of a legacy install L/C: Installed plugins, especially ad blockers, PC Firewall, Antivirus / Cyber security software, on Windows bad registry entries L/N: Network firewall, DNS filters (like a Pi-Hole or other ad blockers), activated VPN (especially if it routes all traffic through a corporate network) G/N: Everything outside of the local network, like an ISP blocking certain sites Since nobody knows your setup, you need to find out yourself. If you think everything is fine locally, try a personal hotspot from your phone to circumvent the ISPs network, for example.
  4. Mac 10.84.3 - the files position is in the left panel. But clicking on it produces a blank main area - nothing is displayed at all. On the web client it worked right away. A logout/login then made it work on the installed client as well. On switching between Files and other positions opening the files view is pretty slow. I will wait some days - maybe it needs to run an indexing first.
  5. Until EN recognizes my iCal (Apple), the calendars have no utility for me.
  6. Even if it is a carry(age) over, there is one difference to other apps: Usually <Enter> starts a new paragraph, <shift-Enter> a new line inside of the same paragraph. To me it seems EN treats both the same.
  7. Fonts will depend on the app used, the fonts installed and the standard text format. EN brings along its own fonts. The checkbox option doesn't exist in other apps, it is converted to bullets. Apart from this the list is kept, including idents: EN, LibreOffice, Pages:
  8. Works for me. Maybe the ESR version lacks functions the web client needs to run. You can try to erase stored website data for Evernote.com. Disable any plugins, they can interfere.
  9. Log out of the app, log back in. Restart the phone. Evernote Support Ticket: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  10. The formatting is done through HTML commands, that are invisible part of the text when you copy it. Since all apps use their own „flavor“ of HTML it may well be that when you copy a complex formatting between apps, the receiving app interprets the code differently. Against believes MS Word is no „Industry Standard“ - MS is known to do things their own way, which then only works between MS apps (and sometimes not even there). In general I wouldn’t expect full compatibility.
  11. Sometimes a log can be useful. The command line is not necessary, the Activity Log can be enabled through the Help menu.
  12. With all scanners, scan to a folder, rename the file there and save it into an Import Folder. For me it actually saves time. The file name will be used as note title. Giving a good file name avoids rework when the note was created. Search in v10 is actually better than it was before: They added the „Contains“ command, and Boolean Search is available. Contains allows to narrow down the search in a new way, only showing certain content types. Boolean Search allows complex searches not possible before. Both can be used in saved searches.
  13. This forum is user2user - no „dear EN“ present. Use feedback@evernote.com
  14. It works, and I am not aware of any change. EN Mac 10.84.3, MacOS 14.4.1. One needs to get used to the fact that there is no visual feedback, until the last step when the copied tags appear in the target note.
  15. My question was directed at @Katie Santos , who seems to be owning 2 Fujitsu EN edition ix500 scanners. They can be converted into regular ix500, which will then be operational again. As Edition scanners they are practically bricked.
  16. @worker7 opposite to other services who harvest and market user data, EN hold exactly the data you have in your account: Your notes, your login and your payment information. The data is not used for any other purpose than what is disclosed - providing you with the service you have decided to use. You already have what you want.
  17. Just read the title of this thread and the first post. The OP intended rant and emotion, no factual discussion. “train wreck - ignore - law suit - laughable - tsunami of anger“ - just a few key words from the first post. This thread should be closed, not psycho analyzed.
  18. Different companies handle this differently. EN is handling it as I described. If this is good is up to anybody’s discretion. By logging into the help website, the list of tickets can be accessed. Ticket status can be reviewed, tickets can be reopened. Which won’t help much if there is no new information - it will be closed again. Just a waste of time, for yourself and support.
  19. The thread title says "Epson". What you do not mention is "Fujitsu" - the EN Edition scanner was an ix500 with special firmware. Correct ?
  20. A ticket will be called "Solved" when there is no solution - it is then solved by defining there is no solution. It may be closed when an issue was passed on to the devs - the solution is to add it to the backlog. Keeping these tickets open would do no good. It may sound contradictory, but from a support view point they are solved (= answered).
  21. ... which hardly is an EN issue - most likely Win11 is lacking the necessary drivers. You could try to find other drivers on the web.
  22. Did you use Revo Uninstaller to remove both installs ? If not, install both again (to create the install that can be removed), then uninstall using Revo.
  23. …. whatever paid friendliness is worth. Just sit into a lunch break with support staff to learn more about it 😈
