  1. Not yet, but we're doing some foundational work that will address this and some other bugs.
  2. @GregZone This beta update is strictly focused in bug fixes and is not introducing anything new so it's relatively stable, but I understand your concerns. We normally have a beta version build out for 1-2 weeks depending on the feedback we receive from it. If you install 7.11 beta 1, you will be notified to receive the general availability update when released.
  3. We've released Evernote for Mac 7.11 Beta 1 with the fix for this problem. If anyone wants to try it, please see the link below and let me know if you continue to run into this problem.
  4. We have high usage of spotlight search currently, so disabling it is not something in our roadmap. We believe we have a fix for it and it's currently in testing.

  6. Thanks folks. We're actively investigating a resolution for this. EvernoteSpotlight is a process initiated from our app when we authenticate the database to make it searchable with Spotlight. I'll post here again once we have found a fix. Thank you for your patience.
  7. @Etienne G I just meant that I could reproduce it after updating from 7.9 to 7.10, but then could not longer reproduce it after reinstalling 7.10. Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm wondering if anyone else is able to reproduce the issue after reinstalling Evernote 7.10.
  8. Has anyone here noticed if a reinstall of the Evernote for Mac app fixes this issue? Just curious. Haven't been able to reproduce it after update > reinstall. Thanks folks!

  10. This is a tricky situation. You should contact Evernote's customer support here. If you're still logged into a device and you can sync and create new notes, you can most likely get access to your account back to change it to a valid email, but I would recommend contacting Support first for help. I bumped you to Premium for a week without any cost so you can get a hold of them via chat if you'd like.
  11. Hi! Sorry you're still running into problems. Can you clarify or give me steps to reproduce the drag and drop problem you're seeing? We fixed a few of them but not all.

  13. For those who are still running into this problem, please try the following: Open the Terminal app Paste the command codesign -vvvv /Applications/Evernote.app Press return. Please let me know if this fixes the problem, or if it reports anything not signed properly. If successful you'll see these last two lines /Applications/Evernote.app: valid on disk /Applications/Evernote.app: satisfies its Designated Requirement Thanks,
  14. Hi @Laurens900 I upgraded your account for a week to Evernote Premium so you can try to recover the note content using Note History. Additionally, how do you use Evernote? For example, Evernote for Mac, Windows, Web, etc?
  15. @luckman212 and @Caryn, do you have more than one Evernote account logged into Evernote and switch between accounts? If so, can you reproduce this issue if you log out all other accounts and just leave one? If you can DM me your activity logs too, that would be ideal. 1. Open Evernote for Mac 2. Hold down **Option** on the keyboard then click **Help > Show Logs in Finder...** from the menu to open the "logs" folder 3. Attach all the log files in your DM to me. Thanks for the help!
  16. Thanks for reporting. We're able to reproduce it and are looking into it right now. Unfortunately the best workaround here is to put in your user administrator password and press always allow when this comes up.

  18. Please try reindexing your searches. Hold down Option on your keyboard and select Help > Troubleshooting. You will see two search reindex tools in there, apply both and wait a few minutes. If the issue persists then contact support with your activity logs.
  19. We're thinking this is being caused by users who upgraded to the beta (creating the new migration directory) and then moved back to the general release version before 7.10 came out. They are hitting an error because the migration directory already exists. You can avoid this by doing a proper uninstall (removing all directories) of Evernote 7.10 Beta 1 or 2. If anyone has run into this issue without ever installing Evernote for Mac 7.10 Beta 1 or Beta 2, I'd love to know more. Thanks for grouping those here @DTLow
  20. @dougfunny Actually not necessary to send me the logs. I reproduced it on my end and filed a bug with engineering. You should be able to reinstall Evernote again if you use something like App Cleaner to remove Evernote content from Group Containers. Please make sure you check all the boxes to remove Evernote and then reinstall. Here's a screen recording with a quick reference on App Cleaner.
