  1. Weird. I can't reproduce it. Can you DM me a screen recording so I can see your exact setup to properly reproduce? Just reproduced it. Thanks. @romelden, this is the culprit to the bug you're seeing too.
  2. Thanks I reproduced this with some existing notes. I filed a bug with our text editor engineers for a fix. As a workaround, simplify formatting seems to fix the issue, but be careful with it as it can strip other formatting that you may not want.
  3. Thanks @EdH. We're taking and deeply appreciating your feedback around the new overflow menu design, but I want to be be transparent and set the right expectation that for now this is the current design. We will continue to iterate over it to make reaching these options easier (in 7.6 beta 3 we added a keyboard shortcut to "Add notes to shortcuts"), but there's no plan to reverse the overflow menu back to the old design for now.
  4. Thanks for pointing this out. We should have this fixed within the next couple releases.
  5. I can't reproduce this issue. Can you share detailed steps to reproduce?
  6. Hello folks, Evernote for Mac 7.6 Beta 3 is now available. You can download it here. This release is mainly focused on crashes and dark mode refinements. Please keep the feedback coming our way. Enjoy! 7.6 Beta 3 Improvements and fixes: More Dark Mode refinement in many areas of the application Accessibility fixes Many crash fixes Note canvas enables dark mode automatically based on System Preferences settings, but you still have the option to overwrite it in Evernote's preferences. Now you can export notes again by dragging them out of the note list. Known issues: Spotlight search results are not populating for Mojave users Context hasn't had dark mode applied yet.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm making sure that our design team is aware of yours, and everyone else's comments regarding the overflow menu.

    Mac 7.6 Beta 2

Hello Beta testers, Evernote for Mac 7.6 Beta 2 is now available. You can download it here. This release is mainly focused on crashes and dark mode refinements. Please keep the feedback coming our way. Enjoy! 7.6 Beta 2 Improvements: Dark Mode refinement in many areas of the application Note canvas enables dark mode automatically based on System Preferences settings, but you still have the option to overwrite it in Evernote's preferences. Now you can export notes again by dragging them out of the note list. Known issues: Title field is showing a darker shade background color for Mojave users in light mode. Contextual menu shows "EnApplicationServiceMenuItemTitle" instead of "Add to Evernote" Quick switcher still needs some dark mode tweaks

You're indeed correct that it's a little messy. We're doing some clean up and color correction for the next beta so it should look more polished for supported operating systems. Thanks for the feedback!

    Mac 7.6 Beta 1

I'll go ahead and post that. For the time being go to Evernote > Preferences > Software Update > Update to Beta Versions When Available. After this go to Help > Check for Update

Thanks. We have a ticket open with engineering to fix this.

    Mac 7.6 Beta 1

This is in the works and will be fixed by the time 7.6 general release is released. Thanks!
  18. The PDF preview in the snippet is a current bug that we're working to resolve. It affects all mobile and the web client. The desktop versions have their own PDF snippet creation mechanism so they are not affected. We should have this resolved soon. Thanks,

    Mac 7.6 Beta 1

There's currently a bug searching notes with Spotlight on macOS 10.14 if that's what you're environment is. We filed a ticket with Apple as it appears that the bug cross overs to Apple as well.
  20. Your feedback is appreciated. In the meantime you can also delete notes quickly by right clicking on the note in the note list or by pressing ⌘ Delete.
  21. Free users can still display PDFs inline, so this doesn't sound right. Check the following: 1. Preferences > Clipper > By Default, view newly clipped PDFs and office documents: Inline 2. Right click on an attached PDF > View Inline.
  22. 7.5.2 was just an update to fix a server calling issue with Templates, no UI changes. I also wanted to take the opportunity to assure you our design team is aware of everyone's feedback and they are revising each comment. Keep the feedback coming our way. Thanks y'all.
  23. Will do. Our design team is aware of the feedback at this time. Thank you!
  24. I reproduced the issue and filed a bug. I appreciate you taking the time to report this.
