  1. Hi @Laurens900 I upgraded your account for a week to Evernote Premium so you can try to recover the note content using Note History. Additionally, how do you use Evernote? For example, Evernote for Mac, Windows, Web, etc?
  2. @luckman212 and @Caryn, do you have more than one Evernote account logged into Evernote and switch between accounts? If so, can you reproduce this issue if you log out all other accounts and just leave one? If you can DM me your activity logs too, that would be ideal. 1. Open Evernote for Mac 2. Hold down **Option** on the keyboard then click **Help > Show Logs in Finder...** from the menu to open the "logs" folder 3. Attach all the log files in your DM to me. Thanks for the help!
  3. Thanks for reporting. We're able to reproduce it and are looking into it right now. Unfortunately the best workaround here is to put in your user administrator password and press always allow when this comes up.

  5. Please try reindexing your searches. Hold down Option on your keyboard and select Help > Troubleshooting. You will see two search reindex tools in there, apply both and wait a few minutes. If the issue persists then contact support with your activity logs.
  6. We're thinking this is being caused by users who upgraded to the beta (creating the new migration directory) and then moved back to the general release version before 7.10 came out. They are hitting an error because the migration directory already exists. You can avoid this by doing a proper uninstall (removing all directories) of Evernote 7.10 Beta 1 or 2. If anyone has run into this issue without ever installing Evernote for Mac 7.10 Beta 1 or Beta 2, I'd love to know more. Thanks for grouping those here @DTLow
  7. @dougfunny Actually not necessary to send me the logs. I reproduced it on my end and filed a bug with engineering. You should be able to reinstall Evernote again if you use something like App Cleaner to remove Evernote content from Group Containers. Please make sure you check all the boxes to remove Evernote and then reinstall. Here's a screen recording with a quick reference on App Cleaner.

  11. We're aware Spotlight can't search contents of the note right now. Search only works when using search terms belonging to the title. There's also another issue we're aware of where if you launch a searched note from Spotlight while Evernote isn't running, Evernote opens but not to the note itself.
  12. @ewoks, thanks for bringing this up. This issue is still open and being investigated. @JMichaelTX We continue to look at Apple Script bugs. Can you and @DTLow give me more details around the scripts that aren't working?
  13. Hi there, Evernote for Mac 7.10 is now available to our users on direct download. Mac App Store's release is on its way! You can download 7.10 here. Your notes will now load even faster. Like, “Wow, that’s fast” fast. If you’d had the nagging feeling that something was missing, you were right: Your notes had stopped appearing in Spotlight Search. But we fixed it, so any existential angst should be easing soon.
  14. We're working on a fix right now and want to have it out as an app update as soon as possible. You can try regressing to version 8.8.1 for now by downloading it from here.
  15. I think this is a Windows bug and not the Gmail add on. We reproduced the issue on our end here and noticed that the tag appeared in Evernote Web and Mac. Next time this happens, try going to Evernote Windows and selecting File > Exit. After that login again and the tag should appear in the note. Thanks for reporting. I'll file a bug with engineering!
  16. That seems like a bug as once you dismiss the pop up it shouldn't come back unless you reinstall the app. Can reproduce the problem and DM your logs? Thanks,
  17. Do you see a green loading bar up top? If not, any chance you can open your JavaScript in your browser console and show us any of the errors in there? Feel free to DM that information to me.
  18. Hi, At this time Evernote for Mac doesn't support Norwegian. When Evernote detects a language it doesn't support for its UI, it will default to English.

  22. What you're experiencing is by design and it's triggered when we detect network problems through your browser. Because Evernote Web can't rely on a local database like Evernote for Mac or Windows, we create the duplicates with the history of the changes during the network problem. Frankly it's not the most graceful solution, but it avoids losing data. If you find that this happens too frequently, we recommend that you try using Evernote for Mac or Evernote for Windows.
  23. @MatS14 To unblock someone just start a new WorkChat thread with the email of the user you blocked at first. After you submit the message a splash screen asking you to unblock the user will appear. Hope this helps.
