  1. I understand the frustration and apologize this is taking longer than expected. I also apologize my vagueness in last update. What I can say is that we've fixed the issue, and that the app is going through a final round of testing and release approval before we ship to everyone. Most of this is under our control, but some of it is reliant in how fast app stores can approve our submission. There are workarounds to ensure the app is working in the meantime, so I suggest to open a ticket with support if possible. Rest assured we are trying to get this update out the door quickly so that everyone here has the app working as expected.
  2. We're confident this fix will be available in the next update, 10.52 available in a few weeks.
  3. Sorry for the late reply here. Please know we're aware of the issue and working on a fix.
  4. Hey folks, Yesterday the Evernote team deployed a backend update to the real time editing service that will address the majority of the issues related to slow note opening. It will also help alleviate some other issues that appeared as a result of a cascading effect due to the slowness in loading notes (some tasks problems). This backend release focuses on a few things, but most importantly: 1. Faster load times of the notes 2. Faster "content merge" of the notes, meaning that content edited in two different places will merge faster, regardless of how much data it is. 3. Fewer errors and disconnects with the real time editing service. The fix is live now (no need for software updates). Please let me know if you are not seeing any improvements on your end. Thanks again for everyone's support in helping us make a better product.
  5. Thank you for the report on the hang. I reproduced and filed a ticket for the devs. As to the image, this is a problematic website for us because in simplified and article mode the image is also not saved. Thanks for reporting!
  6. Hi @eric99 I followed these steps a few times and couldn't reproduce the problem. Can you DM me your logs and the URL of the note you lost data from?
  7. Hi @ahmed mohamed, Thanks for reporting this. We are currently aware of a bug that can cause this if you had the note in Scratchpad and converted it into a note, or if you used Android Evernote widget to create the note. Do you recall how this note was created? From the screenshot seems like it was a webclip, however I'd like to confirm.
  8. Hey @FayNYC I can help clarify some questions. 1. This first point is more to review if any of your notes are not synced. For example, if you used the app offline, the note snippets will show a gray icon on the top right corner indicating that these notes haven't been synced yet. The first point you mentioned is a visual verification of your notes to see if you have anything that hasn't synced. You can also go to Evernote Web and compare your note count or just take a side by side peek. 2. No comments here. Seems like you got it 👍 3. Uninstalling an app on the Mac consists simply of dragging it to the trash, however all apps will leave things behind. If you want to do a clean uninstall of Evernote for Mac you have to do the following: 1. Open a Finder window 2. In the menu bar select Go > Go To Folder 3. Paste "~/Library/Application Support" without the quotes in the box and press "Go" 4. Find the "Evernote" folder and delete it. Hope this helps!
  9. I can probably help you with eliminating your ghost tasks. Please DM me if you're still seeing the issue so I can help out. Thanks for reporting!
  10. Thanks for reporting. We actually have a bug open for this that is on our roadmap to fix. The best way to fix the task is to delete the due date and setup the recurrence again, or delete and recreate the task with its recurrence. Sorry for the inconvenience but rest assured we're working on a fix.
  11. The blocks appear when you're using a version of Evernote that doesn't support tasks. I recommend that you install the latest version of Evernote from evernote.com/download or try https://www.evernote.com/Login.action to see your tasks.
  12. This issue should be fixed moving forward to all users. Thanks everyone for the reports!
  13. Great question. Here's how the relevance algorithm sorts your tasks in "My Tasks" in order of priority 1.Tasks overdue by less than 14 days 2. Tasks that are due in the next 2 days 3. Flagged tasks 4. Tasks with due dates 5. Assigned tasks
  14. We're looking into this problem, but likely can be resolved by rebooting your PC or quitting and reopening Evernote like @agsteele recommended. Can you let us know if that worked?
  15. Hey there! Thanks for reporting. I'll need some activity logs as I'm unable to reproduce this issue on my side. If you can provide them, that would be swell. I'll direct message you.
