  1. There's still no "clear" answer I still have a faint hope from the original release notes and "not yet available" but there's no guarantee I'm still using Legacy and Applescript - I will only switch to a script supported app
  2. Confirmed - The Export feature is only available on the Mac/Windows client software
  3. Using the Tags Page (not the sidebar) Right-Click the Tag and select Delete To access the Tags Page, click on the Tag icon in the Sidebar
  4. Correction Notebooks are excluded from the any: parameter Documentation at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828 Since notebooks have exclusive relationships with notes, at most one notebook can be provided for the search. The notebook is not included in the "union" created by the "any:" operator edit; I work on a Mac with the Legacy version
  5. Don't cross-post I've merged your posts and moved them to the Scannable forum
  6. Agreed; the discussion posts are a worthless To indicate support for the request, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion The Version 10 product has no support for Local Notebooks If necessary for your workflow, use a different product (I use the Evernote Legacy product)
  7. Please explain "are in the Evernote cloud" Where are these "stored folders" actually stored, and how are you "bring it back"
  8. My solution is to recover the information from data backups I have private backups, and Evernote has a Note History backup running constantly for all accounts More information at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313858-Use-note-history-to-view-older-versions-of-a-note Access to the data is a premium feature, but you can subscribe for a single month
  9. Did you notice my sidebar view in the screenshot I run with a minimal sidebar; all icons are in view I longpress mouse-over a notebook/tag icon for tree navigation
  10. Screenshot from my Mac after right-clicking on a stack Note I'm working in the Notebook page; not the sidebar To open the Notebook page, click on the notebook icon in the sidebar
  11. This is a limitation of the enex export; it does not include notebook details To preserve notebook assignment, use separate exports for each notebook Also, The export does not include note-id The import creates new notes >> I had to reinstall my Windows OS ...imported the .enex file of all my notes. The best practice is to simply log into your account The sync process will restore your local notes database from the server (except for Local Notebooks)
  12. Currently, Evernote v10 has no support for tabs You could use Favourite/Shortcut entries to reduce the "looking for" time
  13. The master version of our data is maintained on the Evernote servers Check your data using the web platform at www.evernote.com Make sure you use the correct userid/password
  14. The app is password protected You have to enter userid/password to access your data
  15. It seems like you switched to the Version 10 product I recommend you switch back to the Legacy product (https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote)
  16. Using Evernote Legacy, I have links such as file:///System/Applications/Reminders.app Evernote Version 10 is still missing this file link functionality
  17. No objection to options imho The default should be any update be reflected in the "date updated"
  18. I would answer that Evernote Version 10 is not ready for general use Not just my opinion, Evernote itself restricts me to Legacy on the web (10k+ notes) also Evernote restricts us to selecting 50 notes
  19. My process is that all new notes go to my default notebook (Inbox) I use a script to move the notes to my Filing notebook At the same time, the script also assists with tag assignment >>if I stopped tagging, I wouldn't replace that with an increased # of notebooks. That would just replace one tedium with another. That's smart; tag or notebook it's basically the same thing >>search function ... Especially if the tag is a word that appears in the same document That works, but I would want to identify the word as a tag I prefix the word with a character, for example - this is a xTag and I search for xTag (A tip I learned from @gazumped)
  20. Instead of the Evernote editor, use MS Word Store the document as a note attachment file
