  1. We expect/hope the Version 10 product will be updated with the HTML option, and the note # limit to be removed No timetable specified - this is a work-in-progress
  2. fwiw The local database is optional, and only used for offline access
  3. The word from Evernote is to use the Legacy product if the Version 10 deficiencies interrupt your workflow I review the work-in-progress to decide if the product will be "usable" for my workflow
  4. The problem is that Evernote Version 10 has no support for Applescript integration I merged your post with an ongoing discussion fwiw I'm still using the Evernote Legacy product which supports the scripting
  5. Web access is counted as a device Simply access the device list in your account settings Select two devices and revoke access to others
  6. Did you check the device list in your user settings? Be aware, web access is counted as a device
  7. As a Basic account, you are limited tp two devices (web counts as a device) Revoke access to extra devices and you can access your data This applies to both the Legacy and Version10 products
  8. See third party Filterize; dynamically updates the table of contents in a note
  9. Generic storage and organization of notes/documents Sync'd to cloud and devices >>On all levels, it requires encryption I encrypt my sensitive documents
  10. I'm not a Word user, but copy/paste works for me
  11. Filterize is a great product for automation; as a Mac user, I use Applescript Missing Applescript integration is my primary reason for not transitioning to Evernote's Version 10 product (besides the not-working part) btw Nice summary in a diagram I'd emphasize Notes&Documents storage as Evernote's core function and also indicate the integrated editor function
  12. This request has 3 votes To indicate support, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion Personally, I store my "to-dos" as individual notes, and produce lists as required I can also use an applescript to extract content within notes Third party Task Clone can also extract "to-dos" from within note contents
  13. It's actually a folder (see screenshot) Can you post a similar screenshot Just confirming - you have the Evernote Mac software installed, and have logged in to your account
  14. Personally, I use the official Evernote Legacy application, supplemented with AppleScript (Mac)
  15. For a Mac solution, see the note linked below (déjà vu) Re: " Each day I use the current date ex. "3/22/21" as the name for my daily task list", I use an applescript - duplicating the template and setting the title (Evernote Legacy)
  16. How will that work? I know Reminders use a reminderOrder field for the "behind the scenes position index to the notes"
  17. These discussions provide examples of backing up Evernote data Personally, I'm using export to html, with the Evernote Legacy product, on a Mac
  18. Personally, I have minimal notebooks - basically a single Filing-Cabinet notebook For organization, I use tags (over 300) >>I'm not familiar with enscript I use applescript on a Mac for daily incremental and weekly full backups
  19. As a work-around, some platforms include a keyboard shortcut to insert a date/time stamp (command-shift+D on my Mac) I use a keyboard shortcut to trigger insertion via a third party product (Keyboard Maestro). This allows me to control the format
  20. I use the Evernote Legacy product on a Mac My data backups include an export with the HTML option - Export is an Evernote is an feature and can be executed for selected notes, notebook, or all notes - Notes are read-able by any browser app - Attachments are exported in native format (pdf, jpeg,...etc)
  21. Not available on Mac-Legacy, IOS-Version10, Web-Legacy Thanks for the details - it's a useful feature
  22. My guess is that all the notes are still there, protected by account id/password You didn't mention your platform/device I recommend the web platform at www.evernote.com to avoid debugging device issues
