  1. For priorities, user votes are only one of the factors, and 30 votes Is not a great indicator For my use, I see Evernote as a text based product (enml/html) and look to other products for my handwriting/annotation needs The images and documents are stored in Evernote as note attachments
  2. I'm not sure about using underscore as a trigger; it's an interesting idea A double underscore might be better to eliminate misfires On my Mac, I use a keyboard shortcut (command option T) As you pointed out, Evernote already provides support for Tags My work-around is an Applescript which accesses the Tag table, and inserts the "key" (Tag) into the note contents As to syntax; Smith__ works in some cases I mostly use tag_aaaaaaaaa
  3. Do they know Evernote's Basic account is free
  4. No there is no way to view the "Evernote backlog" There is also no way to see Evernote's priority list, but I suspect this feature is not near the top
  5. You're posting in the discussion and the request is at the top The vote button is at the top left corner of the discussion
  6. Any recommendation for an inexpensive app? Mac users have the Preview app delivered with the OS. I use an automator script I moved this discussion to the cross-platform forum
  7. There are various features missing in the "New" web version My solution is to switch to the previous version and Click on your user icon to switch to the previous version >It seems that there isn't a way to add them to the Shortcut list in the iOS client. On the Manage Tags screen, drag left
  8. This is a Windows forum. Mac users have no problem resizing images, either display size or actual size using the Preview app installed with the OS

  10. There's a request posted and discussion at the note linked below To indicate your support, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion
  11. From the forum Code of Conduct Do not double post (post the same message twice in one thread) or cross post (place the same message across several forums).
  12. Just to be clear, when Evernote uses the term "publish" it doesn't mean send my manuscript to a publisher. This requires a third party conversion tool What is your issue with FastPencil? The overview says Import your Evernote notes and create a book or manuscript instantly. With a few clicks you can format to an ebook or professional print book, publish, and send to thousands of print or ebook distribution channels.
  13. Evernote has notebook and tag fields; no support for folders This discussion is for the addition of hierarchy (levels) for the notebook field Yes, this can be useful for both fields
  14. I don't think you"ll find a better general tool than Evernote's search feature Keywords are organized using the Tags feature; there's also text search (not regex) >>Has anyone found a way to do this with tools outside of Evernote, something that works with a large amount of notes? I export my data to a spreadsheet, using Applescript (Mac) This data includes hyperlinks back to the notes stored in Evernote The spreadsheet allows much more functionality with a note list
  15. It's actually https://discussion.evernote.com; discussion forums for Evernote users
  16. Screenshot is from my Mac showing Evernotes's email feature via the share function
  17. Evernote's base format is enml (basically html) This can be sent to users by email I can use print to pdf to "download the page" as a pdf
  18. My usual view is All Notes, my "file cabinet" Sort order can be adjusted to title (A to Z)
  19. Thanks for the template I use a Daily note (combined planner/journal/dashboard) with the same type of template A table is useful for adding layout and colour to a note As noted by @kmf, my template also has checkboxes for recurring tasks Using a Mac, I can drag events from the calendar and task notes from another window They insert nicely as checkbox entries
  20. We used to have that option on a Mac, just right-click in the note (discussed here) These days I just use the OS screenshot function and paste or drag into the note
  21. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦 Which devices/platforms do you use? I can sort tags by note count on my Mac and iPad Screenshot from my Mac Screenshot from my iPad
  22. I did access the link, and saw all the note sections I'm still asking about your use for the "Additional" section Your template shows "Eat the frog"
  23. Please add some details about "adjust the lines" Tables have rows, columns and cells My adjustments are quite basic, adding rows and columns I've also adjusted column width, merged cells and added background colour
