  1. Use the option to add an extension to the Email address. If the user is abc@xyz.com then try abc+efg@xyz.com
  2. Go to evernote.com/download and download the latest version which is currently 10.72.2 I'd probably do a full uninstall with Revo Uninstaller to ensure you have a clean start.
  3. This is usually the result of a corrupted installation. Uninstall using Revo Uninstaller on Windows or Appcleaner on MacOS. This will clean out the full installation and system settinngs. Then reinstall by downloading the current installer from evernote.com/download You can expect an update every two to four weeks not daily.
  4. I'm on Windows and don't have this issue as you describe. And nobody suggested you should switch to Mac or even slightly implied dumbness for not doing so. Please open a support ticket.
  5. It's up to you. If you choose not to tell anyone then they are even less likely to realise that something's needs fixing. But there is nothing we can do here to help other than commiserate.
  6. Correct. Sync is instantaneous and continuous with the latest versions of the software.
  7. You'll get no solution if your don't report this issue. Whether the answer will come before next Friday I cannot say. It is probably a server side issue so a resolution might appear soon without announcement.
  8. I think you are being taken around in a circle by the contributions to your point. Since others aren't experiencing as you are it seems that your only option is to open a support ticket and wait the inevitable time for an authoritative answer. Evernote support does not regularly read these forums so you will only get discussion from fellow users.
  9. When you set up the 2FA app you will have been given a set of emergency codes for just this situation. Might you have forgotten that you saved these? Once you reconnect you could try the Authy authenticator. Unlike Google's version, Authy can set up on multiple devices.
  10. I fear you will need to open a support ticket. The one thingy you could try is to uninstall the app, restart your device and then reinstall.

  13. It is a beta test. You can follow the link offered and sign up to join the test or wait a little longer for the final version to be made available to all.

  15. OK, it look like the note has lost its content. I'd use the Note History function and check whether it can be recovered. Failing that go in via the web browser client and see if the content is still present there. But try Note History first.
  16. This may feel like an unnecessary chore but it may help, after you have reinstalled, to perform a thorough uninstall of Evernote using the Revo Uninstaller program. This will not only do a basic uninstall but also clear out anything in the registry that may be causing this issue and any left over program files that might be causing the issue. Otherwise reinstalling just loads up on top of broken stuff and problem often persists.
  17. This the image I see when I open a note with encrypted text. Can you grab a screen shot and show us what you see? When I point at the three dots I see: And I choose to Reveal encrypted content I get the following where I type in my encryption 'password'
  18. Moving notes is not offered in the current limits for a Free account. If you have more than fifty notes then you could pay for one month, move all your notes into a single notebook and then revert to Free the next month. If you have fewer than fifty notes in total then you could export the excess notebooks to ENEX files, remove the excess notebooks and then import the notes back into your single remaining notebook. This all subject to the data limits per month.

  20. I think your use of only local notebooks is very untypical. Mostly the local notes don't breach the data limits. I doubt that it was conscious decision to prevent users like yourself from importing the local notes in one go. Since you have decided to go online with V10 I would move your notes by moving the currently local notebooks online inside the Legacy software. When that is complete the login with V10 and the notes will be in your account. I think that this will resolve the date issue. As for the crashes I would uninstall V10 using an uninstall program such as Revo Uninstaller to be sure you restart the process cleanly.
  21. Just download Revo Uninstaller, use it to uninstall Evernote then reinstall the most up to date version from evernote.com/download
  22. Did you install with Revo Uninstaller? The standard Windows unistaller doesn't cleanup as effectively as Revo.
  23. Actually, most browsers on Android have a setting to force a site to display in desktop view. Use that and Evernote displays in the browser. But it is very small and compressed so not especially legible.
