  1. I think your use of only local notebooks is very untypical. Mostly the local notes don't breach the data limits. I doubt that it was conscious decision to prevent users like yourself from importing the local notes in one go. Since you have decided to go online with V10 I would move your notes by moving the currently local notebooks online inside the Legacy software. When that is complete the login with V10 and the notes will be in your account. I think that this will resolve the date issue. As for the crashes I would uninstall V10 using an uninstall program such as Revo Uninstaller to be sure you restart the process cleanly.
  2. Just download Revo Uninstaller, use it to uninstall Evernote then reinstall the most up to date version from evernote.com/download
  3. Did you install with Revo Uninstaller? The standard Windows unistaller doesn't cleanup as effectively as Revo.
  4. Actually, most browsers on Android have a setting to force a site to display in desktop view. Use that and Evernote displays in the browser. But it is very small and compressed so not especially legible.
  5. I can see what you imagine but, in fact, it is common for me to have different labels in those two places. The notebook list when you use the All Notes column says 'Notes'. If I've made a search it will say 'Search Results'. At the the top of the note it tells me where the note is actually located. That is also the place to click if I want to move the note to a different notebook. So I can see an argument for having the notebook location moved to a different position but it does need to remain somewhere on view. Acxtually I'm content with its current location but I wouldn't be devastated if it moved
  6. I had no idea what DeX is. Apparently a Samsung feature that enables a Samsung tablet to work like a desktop computer. The Android app is a mobile application. I can't see any desktop functions being built into it unless Android, as a whole, introduce such a feature. By all means suggest it via feedback@evernote.com but don't expect it anytime soon.
  7. But those that do have a disability that makes the new UI a disadvantage for them should register this. Anyone who has impaired vision and is disadvantaged by the new UI needs to underline the need for this to be taken into account.
  8. To be fair to Amazon, the version of the Evernote app in their store was very different from the Play Store version. So why wouldn't they withdraw it?
  9. The first thing to check is the note history.
  10. For my purposes Category=Stack, Project=Notebook Notes=action/activity/etc within the project and contain the associated task(s). If you could bring yourself to adjust your structure then I think that the Task pop-out sorted by Note could do what you want.
  11. The two device limit does create some challenge in managing devices. The key is, I think, to always sign out of a device and then remove it from your account before then accessing your account from an alternative device. Remember, too, that you can only unsync twice a month. Since the web access is needed to manage your account I would have signed out from the mobile device rather than the web. The only quick solution would be for you pay for a one month subscription then cancel it after two weeks and before the renewal for the following month comes around. That will give you a month to resolve the issues. Otherwise, wait until the 30 days is up.
  12. As you will realise, Tasks can reside in any note. Indeed, IMO, the power in Evernote tasks is their ability to make a Note actionable. So, keep your Tasks in a separate Note which represents the list(s). Then in the Task pop-out tap the Notes tab and your Tasks are sorted by the Note that they reside in. It is relatively trivial to move a Task from one Note to another by editing the Task and selecting the new Note that you want it to sit inside of.
  13. Please note everyone is talking about 10.72.2 where the fix has been released.
  14. The conversion happens automatically when you open a note using the v10 apps. So nothing for you to do.
  15. The Evernote app has been removed from the Amazon store. You can still use it via a web client or get the app from a service such as apkmirror.
  16. I'm not sure that is the best link for support. Better to try https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  17. The app store versions are notoriously problematic. I would uninstall then download the latest version from evernote.com/download 10.72.2 claims to have a fix for this issue.
  18. How did you uninstall? Try the recommended Revo Uninstaller to handle the uninstall which should remove all corrupted parts of the install.
  19. I think you can raise it with the Apple App Store too
  20. This is usually an indication of a corrupted installation. On Windows, uninstall with the free Revo Uninstaller program. Download the latest version of the desktop application from evernote.com/download and reinstall.
  21. The Teams products include a free account for each individual. To be honest, I don't know if there are any limits on the individual personal account as a Free subscription or if it is a free Personal subscription. In any case you can share notes or notebooks from the Teams account with the free personal account. The content is then available to work with in the individual as well as the Teams account. To share a note, select the Share button in the editor view. For the notebook go via the three dots menu in the notebook view.
