A number of users have found that the answer to this is to uninstall the app and then reinstall.

You can go to support by raising a ticket - assuming you are a paying subscriber. Before that try the following. In the app... File | Sign Out | Remove my Evernote data from this device Restart Evernote and log back in. Evernote will rebuild your data and see how that goes.

It would help to know which version of Evernote you are using.

A manual uninstall needs to ensure that %AppData%\Evernote and %LocalAppData%\Programs\Evernote are deleted

Yes. I believe (but no experience) that the issue is resolved for Mac desktop but WIndows had been fixed but then broke again. Devs have acknowledged in a current beta that it is an area that has attention.

It is one of those issues that has been fixed and then failed again. I believe that there is a beta running at the moment which may see some improvements. Certainly staff report that this issue in Windows does have attention.

You only need to subscribe for one month which will remove the device limits for that month. Then revoke ALL the devices that you have connected and thereafter only use the two that you intend to use when your paid month comes to an end.

This is sometimes a symptom of a glitch in the data. Try rebuilding your data. Since you can't log in, uninstall the app using an uninstaller such as Revo Uninstall. Otherwise, uninstall and then ensure the data directory is deleted before you reinstall. The directory is %AppData%\Evernote

I've had this occasionally. Mostly it resolves itself but once I had to contact the support team which worked some magic in the background. If this hasn't resolved within 24 hours open a ticket.

This isn't an issue for me. I go to the web page. In the browser select Share and then Evernote. EN opens and I tap Save. I have to wait a second or two and the note appears. There was an issue in 10.24 but that was fixed. Have you tried uninstalling the app, restart the phone, reinstall the app? I have found that the app update process from Play Store sometimes breaks one thing or another. A reinstall usually fixes things.

Completed tasks are hidden in the tasks button. In the note they are greyed out. Although not hidden in the note it is clear what has been completed. What many users would like, I think, is automatic sorting so that completed items are moved to the bottom of three list.

I agree that this should be an option. In the meantime I find that changing the option the first time I need to use the scroll in a particular PDF isn't so very inconvenient. I don't bother until I need to scroll through a PDF.

The problem was patched in v10.25 and continues to work, for me, in v10.26. Have you raised a ticket with support?

I use the second approach that @Mike Psuggests. It works well with the exception that the 'templates' appear when I first by a tag that is in the template. It isn't a big deal though.

Have you raised this as a technical issue with a support ticket? Often this sort of issue can be resolved by rebuilding your local data. File / Sign Out / remove your local data. Then reboot your PC, and log in again. After a few minutes the data will reload.

I think the widget is the only option for you. If you want to suggest it to the Devs you can use the feedback option in the app settings.

You could use the provided Add Quick Note widget that is provided already.

\with the release of v10.26 there is now a device widget to display Tasks on the device screen.

Provided your tasks are all in the default Tasks note then just open that note. For easy access as it to your shortcuts.

You need to keep the paid account. You should do this in a desktop application. Export the notebook(s) from the Free account to an enex file(s). Switch to the paid account and import the notebooks you just exported into the paid account. In the online account settings for the free account go to the Account Status area and select the option you want. Log out of the free account. Now access the settings for the paid account and change your Email address if that's what you wish to do. However, if you paid for sub via Google Play or iOS you can't unlink the paying Email account.
