  1. And perhaps they already have. This is just an opportunity to put some weight behind the things that irk you when using Evernote. Quite likely adding a vote to the list of things that the QoL team is already working on.
  2. The evernote:// links are internal. They operate solely within the Evernote app. You probably need the web link
  3. The problem with the so-called Quality of Life issues is that my QoL is affected by entirely different set of things to almost everyone elses. Dumping a shopping list of pages of demands is unlikely to assist but a clearly described request, including reasons why it would make your Evernote life better, of one or two essentials may get traction.
  4. The Task view that this help page describes is exactly what is available in the Evernote desktop and mobile apps. You even found it as shown by your screen captures. So I'm not sure what else you seek.
  5. Thanks for your question. Please forgive me if I tell you things you already know. What you can achieve depends upon how you are recording your tasks. From the screen shot you shared I'm assuming you are using Evernote Tasks rather than Checklists.Tasks have a purple coloured circle to mark it completed. You point to the Things to Do Note in your settings. You seem to have this Note selected to be the default location for Tasks. That means that unless you choose differently a Task will be created and stored in that default Note. As you will realise, you can create Tasks inside any note making the Note actionable. The good news is that all Tasks are gathered up in a summary Tasks pop out which is located in the Evernote sidebar. This collates all the Tasks regardless of the Note they are located in. So this is where you can see all your Tasks. The pop out has several tabs depending on how you want to view them. If you are using Checklists to gather your tasks then we'll have to talk further The thing to recognise is that Tasks are connected to a Note rather than a Notebook. If you want your Tasks in a single Notebook then you put each Note in a Notebook. But this really isn't a useful means of managing Tasks. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500003792141-Tasks-Overview
  6. That's an option that is no longer available. It was introduced a few months back but has now been removed.
  7. Small things that would make your use of Evernote easier. The ability to select the thumbnail image is something that might go on my list.
  8. Do any of the suggestions in a separate thread already running on this issue help you?
  9. I understand that the Evernote team is planning to give attention to what might be termed quality of life issues in the coming year. You can craft a description of what would make your Evernote life easier and submit it to feedback@evernote.com I'd recommend you ask for it to be passed to those tracking quality of life issues. Submission does not guarantee it will be addressed but will at least reach an early sift of ideas. Also, don't try to game the feedback process. It won't work but just end up with ideas ending up in the trash can.
  10. A checkbox shortcut is [] That's [ plus ] without a space between them. Remember that placing a checkBOX at the start of a line of text will cause it to convert to a checkLIST when you add the carriage return at the end of the line.
  11. I think I would still recommend the steps in my earlier post.
  12. I think the thing to underline from @AlbertR is that the Emails relate to reminders set on a note, not for tasks.
  13. Here's a suggestion... On Android create a new empty notebook. After a couple of minutes check that it has appeared on another device. On the other device COPY the notes in 'My Notebook' to the new notebook created on the Android device. After a few minutes check that the notes have appeared on the Android device in the new notebook. Assuming all remains well. Mark the new notebook as your default notebook using a desktop or web client. Again check all is still visible on the Android client. Finally if all is well delete the original 'My Notebook'. If all remains well then you can rename the new default notebook if you wish.
  14. As @PinkElephant says plus don't place a checkBOX at the beginning of a line. It will be converted to a checkLIST.
  15. Response times are slow at the moment especially with the various holidays.
  16. As I said above, contact support. We are all users here so we can help with many of the challenges greetings things going but not with subscription problems.
  17. Sounds like you'll need to contact customer support. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true Select Subscriptions/Billing Issues or teams Billing Issues if you really want a Teams account
  18. Evernote taka address not connected to the calendar widget. You can suggest this via feedback@evernote.com but I would not expect this to be implemented in less than 18 months at the earliest.
  19. I'm not aware of any printed books which cover Evernote v10.
  20. I think you're suggesting either an Evernote calendar or two way link to a Google calendar. Both have been suggested by many others. You could send a note to feedback@evernote.com with your suggestion. For the reasons well rehearsed in the other threads this isn't something we'll see anytime soon. But do add your voice via feedback.
  21. So you mean the device screen widgets or the internal Evernote home widgets?
  22. For clarity, the downgrade link is, slightly confusingly in my view, labelled 'Cancel your Evernote subscription'. Choosing cancel will downgrade to Free.
