  1. The standard search works from the left of a string. So you need all the text in the search from the left end of the character string. I think the AI Powered Search might overcome this.
  2. Good for you. This is a Windows feature and this discussion ended 4 years ago. Have you been looking for an answer in Evernote by mistake?
  3. The calendar links are one direction. You can't feed anything from Evernote to the calendar. The link is designed to allow you to create notes which are placed in the context of an event.
  4. You don't say how you are trying to achieve the export. Remember, you can only expect a notebook at a time or a maximum of 100 notes together. If you are not breaking those limits then I'd probably rebuild my local data. File, Sign Out, Remove your data. When you log back in the data will be rebuilt. Note that this will take some hours depending upon how many notes you have. So leave the export over the weekend to be sure everything is in order before trying the export again.
  5. Had some conversations yesterday and there have been some changes to the server-side search algorithm. The impact was/is being monitored and adjustments made based on feedback. Looks like something just landed.
  6. I'm just another user offering to use an opportunity that I may have to present these quality of life issues with Gboard and Evernote. I have no plans to try these things out. Not do I offer to go on about how long the issues have existed. I will put this forward but no promises of the outcome or timescale.
  7. Or use a third party service such as evernote-backup
  8. Spell out brieflt, but clearly, the issues that you feel need to be addressed with the Gboard interaction. I have the opportunity to feedback some 'quality of life' issues for attention in 2024 via the Evernote Expert community. Just the Gboard stuff please and I'll be happy to submit it for attention. But I will also ignore anything else
  9. Or they are doing exactly what @Legal requested. Perhaps an even better approach would be to give the requested refund and then, having resolved the issue, granted a few months free access as compensation. Perhaps @Legal would have then been persuaded that a subscription would be useful
  10. Of course there is no refund. The 'rules' changed in 2008 and you continued with the changed service. Perhaps somewhere along the way a communicatioon was sent advising you of changes which you forgot about, didn't receive or went to spam. But the service did change and you were able to continue with the new service. Now we have another change. Is that fair? I couldn't say but it is the way things are. If you feel you are due a refund then you should contact the support team and request it. You'll have to explain the deal you had very carefully. I doubt that there is anyone in the staff who has any knowledge. My guess is that the amount of refund due to you on a pro-rata basis will be small but you may get it as a courtesy. You'll have to ask the support teams. We're all other users and likely have less sympathy than employees might have.
  11. I was hoping for a different answer. You have, in principle, a good configuration for everything to work as it should. My app looks like the one shared by @Dave-in-Decatur
  12. These forums use some third party forum software from a company called Invision. If there is a problem with signatures it is unlikely that Evernote will be able to much other than switch to different software.
  13. You need to take that up with apkmirror. We're trying hard to focus on Evernote
  14. Create a folder on your desktop and in the Evernote desktop app link it as an import folder. Place each HTML file in that folder and it will be imported. Be warned, though, images may not carry forward with the import.
  15. I confess that I assumed that this was an issue with the Windows desktop app since we're in the Windows Issues forum.
  16. I think I recall this being reported in the past. The advice was to open the PDF in a standalone PDF editor and then save back into Evernote.
  17. My guess, you're viewing on a phone. Signatures don't seem to be displayed on a phone.
  18. If you read in the forums you'll find every man and his dog had a suggestion... Good luck 🤞
  19. I've not been able to reproduce this issue with highlighting text in a bulleted list. In the past I had a problem a bit like this in another piece of software and it turned out to be hat my mouse settings needed to be tweaked. I think is had to slow down the acceleration (I see I have it set to none) rather than the pointer speed. But it may also have been some automatic settings which were set to let the mouse driver automatically highlight stuff or similar. Anyway, I'd try finding an old simple plug in mouse and temporarily try that out to see if it fixes things. That would point to mouse configuration. If so, go back to the original mouse and try tweaking the mouse settings and see if it makes a difference.
  20. As you realise thyere is a big push to get Free users to move to a paid plan. You can stay on the Free subject to the new limits but the price is the promotion every day while the offer is running which I imagine is for the next month or so. You do, at least, use Evernote. At least its not a promotion to buy a miracle heater which I seem to get every time I view a video on YouTube.
  21. @frankG111 I'm sorry that you have this experience but that is not what I see. I use Firefox exclusively and the Evernote web clipper doesn't have the effect you describe. You might do well to disable all add-ons in Firefox except the web clipper, restart the browser then check that the issue is still present. If it is then submit a support ticket. If it turns out to have gone away, then restart each add-on until the problem returns. Now disable the web clipper. If the issue resolved then that's probably an indication of a conflict between the web clipper and the other problem add-on. If the issue remains then it isn't the Evernote web clipper but the other problem add-on. HTH
  22. If you read the posts in the forum you'll see that Evernote's Free tier is now subject to a 50 note/1 notebook maximum. Users previously using the Free plan can edit, delete, move and export their existing notes but cannot create new notes if their account exceeds the new limits. You could create a new free account and share your old notes with that account meanwhile working within the 50/1 limits in the future, or you can upgrade to the Personal tier or find an alternative service that remains free and supports your use.
  23. Which sadly, for your campaign, is nothing. Unless you propose to recreate the Evernote storage and sync independently too. The moment the Legacy sync is turned off the old apps will stop working.
  24. If you have the note 'open' on two devices (say mobile and desktop) then that might raise this issue. Be sure that you only have the note open on one device and see if that resolves the issue.
